Stinging heart

He sneered. ”I don’t care!”

She got up, suppressed her anger, looked at him, and said. ”All that happened to you is fair. You erased the hope of giving birth to my child. Jordan has ruined your career. This is fair. As for the kindness of you did to save my life, I will repay it.”

He grabbed her wrist. ”Don’t go so fast, sit back with me.”

Ivelle frowned, obviously didn’t want to.

He pressed her back to his seat and said. ”I know you hate me, and you don’t even want to see me at all, but Ivelle, I’m so lonely. It’s New Year’s Eve, the people in the company are walking and scattered. I stood on the top floor for a long time. I looked at the lights, but my heart was empty. I’ve been living like this all these years. I’m a person who doesn’t want to recall my memories, and I always see my parents in my dreams. They prepared a lot of dishes on New Year’s Eve and always urged me to go home as soon as possible.”

”But whenever I woke up from that dream, I was facing an empty room. I thought, maybe I would go to see you and to feel better. I drove my car to the villa in the eastern suburbs and stood outside the gate looking at your lights and listening to your laughter. For a few seconds, I wanted to go in and take you away, but when I looked at Jordan holding you and laughing, it was too dazzling. That kind of happiness is something you have never had before with me.”

Ivelle couldn’t take it anymore. She looked at him faintly, remained silent for a moment, and said. ”It’s getting late. I should go back.”

He didn’t stop her anymore, but he said. ”Ivelle, have you thought about it? You can’t be pregnant now. Blossom is not born from him. No matter how much Jordan loves you, you should also consider the Astley family. You respect Father Astley. What is his hope? You are younger than anyone else. If Alice knows that you will not be pregnant, do you think she will calmly let you live together? Ivelle, this is life, not a script. You don’t have such a broad mind. ”

Ivelle looked back at him and smiled. ”Aaron, you are really good at adding salt to people’s wounds. You know how to speak and can make people suffer. However, these are your own words. People are different from each other, such as me. If a woman has a child, he will become a qualified husband and wife instead of forcing her away and finding someone who does not love him to live. Aaron, you have said that this is not a script. In that case, why don’t you want to go back to your life? Mind your own life!”

Some people do not love at all. From his encounter and saw the separation of his parents, Aaron has never been in love and has never been moved.

There were gratitude and guilt, but there is no love. The Almighty said it was fate.

When Ivelle got back to the villa, it was a little late. Frida called and said. ”Ivelle, do you regard me as a friend at all? You didn’t come even if I have a baby, and you don’t come to see me when I asked you out for a coffee. I’ve asked you out so many times. What are you thinking?”

Ivelle thought about it when she went out in the morning. She wanted to see Frida after she went to the hospital, but somehow, she forgot about it.

Now, it was dark. When she got back to the villa, she was a little confused. For a moment, she was clueless on what to say and how to say what the doctor diagnosed her. ”Frida sorry, I went to the hospital today, I--”

”What’s the matter with you when you go to the hospital? Why did go to the hospital? What happened?”

Her series of questions stunned her and said. ”It’s just a cold. I’m much better now.”

It’s not appropriate to talk about the baby.

She was stupefied and said. ”Then you should recover first from your illness and stay there at home. When you are alright, then come to see me and the child. You must come over for the celebration of the baby’s one month old. You are my friend, a sister who’s not blood-related. You have to come whatever you want.”

She could not help being stupefied. Ivelle found that the child and Frida were of the same generation. She could not help laughing and said. ”Okay, I will go!”

She hung up the call with Frida and felt a little better. The villa was brightly lit and she saw Sister Finn was tidying up the kitchen.

When she saw Ivelle going back, she couldn’t help but come out and say. ”Ma’am, how did you just come back late and where did you go? Your husband called several times to ask, everyone is in a hurry to come back, you hurry up to have a look.”
