Stinging heart

I smiled. Jordan took the suitcase from Maisie’s hand. Maisie took me by the arm, touched my belly and said, ”It’s big again. It will be six months soon.”

Looking at her slightly bulging belly, her dress was loose. If you didn’t look carefully, you couldn’t see it at all.

I laughed. ”Why are you back all of a sudden?” I thought she was going to give birth in the country.

”Didn’t Jon go to Hempstead? I came back to see him. I haven’t seen him for a long time. I miss him a little.” She looks much better.

Seeing Jordan walking in front with her suitcase, she lowered her voice and whispered, ”Is everything all right with him?”

I shrugged. ”I don’t know. Nicole has just come back, and it’s hard to say what will happen in the future.”

”Fuck!” She was a little grumpy.

”Isn’t this woman a big lady? Isn’t it good to stay in the capital and be with her daughter? Why does she have to come back to Hempstead to look for trouble!”

”Maybe he is going to take over the job of Erin Wesley.” Nicole came back, I do not know what will happen in the future, in short, I am not at ease.

She flipped her lips. ”This woman is crazy.”

I was silent, and when I thought of Jon, I couldn’t help saying, ”When will Jon arrive?” Did he tell you?”

She shook her head. ”No!”

When we got to the parking lot, I looked at Jordan and said, ”Has Nicole gone back yet?”

He nodded. ”Brad sent her back. Get in the car!”

We got in the car.

Jordan asked, ”What do you want to eat?”

It’s 12:00 already. It’s lunchtime.

Maisie sat on the plane for several hours, a little tired, I looked at her and said, ”Anything is fine!”

Jordan nodded and the car went into the city and parked it downstairs at a Japanese restaurant. He looked at me and said, ”How about eating Japanese food?”

I looked at Maisie and asked, ”Is that okay?”

She nodded. ”Of course!”

When he got out of the car, Maisie leaned over me and said, ”Jordan has been doing this to you recently?”

I nodded. ”Almost!”

”No way!” She patted her forehead. ”I feel like you guys are like an old couple who have lived for decades.”

I was stupefied. ”What’s the matter?”

She flipped her lips, ”It doesn’t look like love, it’s like friendship!”

I went into the restaurant and ordered, and it didn’t take long for the food to be ready.

Jordan ordered me a separate soup of lean meat that I could not eat because I was pregnant, it was too spicy!

I probably ate too much soup. I didn’t want to eat it very much. After a few bites, I gave it to Jordan, and then I lost my appetite after a few mouthfuls of salmon.

Maisie also had no appetite. The way Jordan and I got along made her a little confused.

After sending her back to Porterdale apartment, Jordan took me to the hospital for antenatal examination.

There are a lot of people in obstetrics and gynecology, but fortunately, because we have made an appointment with a doctor in advance, we don’t have to wait in line and have to do all kinds of examinations. Jordan can only wait outside.

During the ultrasound examination, the doctor looked at me and hesitated several times. When I saw that she had something to say, I subconsciously thought that something had happened to the child.

I looked at her and said, ”Doctor, is there something wrong with the child?”

She nodded and looked at me and said, ”Look at the fetus’s weak heart rate and some signs of underdevelopment. In theory, the heart rate of a fetus that has been 24 weeks old should be better.”

After a pause, she continued, ”Miss Ivelle, you must keep your mood and sleep. These are the most basic. Your emotional state directly affects the development of the fetus.”

I nodded. I knew all this, otherwise I wouldn’t have let Jon come to Hempstead.

After the examination, Jordan pulled the doctor to ask about the situation. I was a little distracted sitting in the hallway.

I don’t know what the doctor said to Jordan. when he got out of the hospital, Jordan was in a bad mood. He looked at me and frowned slightly. ”Ivelle, is there something you haven’t told me?”

I smiled. ”What did the doctor say to you? The baby is not yours?”

”Don’t fool around!” He was helpless and worried. ”If you have something on your mind, you must tell me!”

I walked towards the parking lot and said faintly, ”I don’t like it when you see Nicole. You can’t even say a word.”

Then I looked back at him and said, ”Is that all right?”

He stopped in place, eyebrows rose like an arc, ”Are you my master now?”
