Stinging heart

Since he didn’t die, Ivelle felt that there was no need for her to stay.

Ivelle did the papers needed at the hospital and gave the things to Kian. Brad went into the operating room.

Kian wa not happy because Ivelle gave all the papers to him for processing, ”Ivelle, what do you mean by this?”

”Is this not clear enough?” Ivelle looked at him and raised her eyebrow. ”I already did what I need to do and it seems that there’s no need for me to remain here anymore.”

”Is that how a wife should act?” Kian sneered cautiously. ”Your husband is still in the hospital bed and you are only thinking about how to stay away from him. Is this what a wife should do.”

Ivelle thought that it was a little funny. She looked at Nicole who was looking a bit embarrassed. She looked back and said to Kian while she was laughing, ”I don’t know what other wives will do if they encounter this kind of situation where their husband and the mistress become involve in a car accident together but here I am. I didn’t refuse to delay the operation. I am kind enough to Jordan. If it wasn’t for the baby in my belly, to be honest, I didn’t want to sign it at all.”

”Ivelle you are a wicked woman.” Kian was cautious and did not open his mouth but Nicole rushed to do so.

Ivelle nodded and looked at her. ”Well, I’m vicious but it’s not enough. I should pray that this car accident will kill the both of you.”

”Ivelle, do you still have a heart?”

”No!” After she took a glance at the operating room, Ivelle turned around and went straight out of the hospital.

When she got back at the company, it was already three o’clock in the afternoon. Kyle brought in the AC document, looked at her and said, ”Director, the audit of AC has been revised. Boss Jordan is not in the office. Why don’t you sign it?”

Ivelle looked up at her but she didn’t speak for a long time. She was a little flustered when she added, ”Well, this document is very urgent. I’m worried about the delay in my work, so.”

”Is Caldwell Blakely your boyfriend?” Ivelle asked in a cold voice.

She was stunned and her face became pale, ”Director, I.”

”He works at AC?” Ivelle continued to ask, her eyes a little sharp.

For a moment, her hand that was holding the document trembled a little but she didn’t open her mouth. She just bit her lip.

After she looked at her for a long time, Ivelle sighed, ”Kyle, I have always been good to you. From the moment you first stepped in the company until now, no matter what went wrong, my first thought was how to help you get the best treatment.”

After a long silence, Ivelle didn’t say something more. Ivelle just looked at her and said, ”This audit is a major event for two companies. During this period, no matter what happened to AC or Astley Group, AC is the one to be blamed.”

”Director, I.”

Ivelle did not give her a chance to speak, she said, ”Take back the audit materials, make sure there are no problems and send them to the president’s office for results. Also tell AC that we want business cooperation for a long time, not in one or two days. Of course, if this is just a problem between you and AC, it will be much easier. Please deal with it yourself. Don’t let the problem escalate to the point where the leaders of the two companies sit down with each other to talk about it.”

With that, Ivelle let her out. She was not a fool. She haven’t been in touch with auditing. Jordan saw the problem.

Instead of blaming her directly, he went to Kyle, explaining that it was mostly related to Kyle’s cautiousness and that it was common for him to cheat and frame others in the workplace.

Moreover, Kyle always disliked her. He wanted to tamper with her in the middle. Finally, something went wrong and it was not difficult for him to get rid of her in the company.

Kyle is Ivelle’s trusted person, she left most of the things to her. Ivelle would leave the company sooner or later.

Ivelle understood Kyle’s character, she can be moved.

It was an accident and a coincidence to see Caldwell that day. Ivelle thought of the things that happened.

She had nothing else to do plus Ivelle was in a somewhat depressed mood so she simply packed up her things and was ready to go back.

Before she went out, Parker changed into a very formal suit and stood at the door, hugged Ivelle, looked at her and said, ”Let’s go, make an appointment for dinner!”

Ivelle arched her eyebrow and said, ”I don’t really want to go!”
