Chapter 2149: 25.39 Lone Black Star - Execution

The Imperial Palace especially at the Throne hall, the cold floor is now filled with ministers begging for the forgiveness of the Imperial Emperor. Though not all ministers were in the wrong, before the enraged Imperial Emperor no one dared to speak so loudly. However, this is something they had caused. The sudden disappearance of the Emperor, the Empress, the Duke and the Duchess had shaken the authority within the empire. After all, without these four people it would be easier for the Noble Faction to take over. The nobles actually had such thoughts of replacing the emperor with one of them.

Who would have thought that just as they were all about to make a move the Imperial family would suddenly reappear. Moreover, no one knows where they had one too but one thing for sure is that they had appeared within the Imperial Palace despite all of the ministers investigating their disappearance for days. When the Imperial Emperor, Ye Wang, overheard their treasonous words, he was instantly enraged and he had almost killed all the ministers inside the throne hall. His SS-grade aura had spread in the whole throne hall, making all ministers fall off their knees upon his arrival.

It was only then did all the ministers realized that their missing emperor had returned and that all their conflict about who would be taking over the throne seemed no different as a joke at this moment. There are those who were terrified as they had said the most. While the main guys from the Noble Clan actually didn’t do anything and just watched the scene before them unfold.

Now with the emperor enraged, the ministers and generals knew that things wouldn’t end so simply his time. The Imperial Emperor himself had heard their words. Not only him, there is also the Imperial Empress, the Duke and his duchess. Trying to fool around with a glib mouth is no longer possible at this moment. The leaders of the noble factions were relieved that they didn’t carelessly move their mouths or they would be like the ones pressed on the ground before the Imperial Emperor waiting for the verdict which will most likely be a death sentence for these people.

”Those spoken words of yours from before had been all heard by this emperor. Traitors that want to take over the throne for themselves! You are all seeking death!” Ye Wang, the Imperial Emperor exclaimed with anger. ”Great General Ye, execute them on the spot!”

”Yes, your majesty!” Responded Duke Ye Jie.

He pulled his sword from his space ring and slowly approached the kneeling ministers who couldn’t move due to the suppression aura from the Imperial Emperor himself. Without hesitation, Ye Jie, had beheaded all five people in the throne hall who had been talking nonsense about taking over the crowd and targeting the crown prince. No one had stopped the Great General from executing the traitors of the empire. The strong scent of blood and the scary sight of the heads rolling on the ground made everyone’s heart beat erratically. Silence had once again spread in the whole throne hall.

However, it seems that the Imperial Emperor didn’t seem to be satisfied and said, ”Great General, I will give you a decree. Uproot the clans where these five fools come from. Effective immediately!”

”Yes, as you will, your majesty!” The Great General and Duke, Lord Ye Jie had accepted the recently written royal decree and left the Imperial Palace to complete his mission.

This time no one dares to defy the words of the emperor. After all, even though not all of the ministers had outspoken their desires like the five fools who are now headless on the ground, just the fact that they had gathered in the Imperial Palace while the Imperial Family was missing was enough proof that they were closely involved with this scandal of wanting to take over the throne for themselves even though the Crown Prince still exist. The other other of these ministers were those who were loyal to the Imperial Family and came over to stop someone who doesn’t know his place from doing something that would take the throne. It was actually because of this minority within this group that no one was able to forcibly take over the throne while the Imperial Family was missing.
