While the two wardens, Lou Wuye and Yun Ming stayed in the barren lands to keep the barrier activated, the two systems, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang had reached the boundary of the human lands. It is very easy to see the line that separates the human land and the land of the beasts. Human territory is the second most fertile land in the world, while the Barren Land have more than half of their lands covered in yellow rocks and sand. Fertile and water sources in the barren land are limited.

With the three of them in their human forms, they finally entered the human city. Minkong was looking around observing the human city which he had last seen hundreds of years ago. He looked like he could barely recognize anything in this city as it was completely different from the one he remembers. The appearance of these three men attracted the eyes of the people around them. They just ignore them though.

Zhi Yue asked the Beast King, ”What are you looking for?”

”Hm. I just felt that this city had changed a lot. The last time I came here, this place was just made up of stones. The civilization of the human race is through progressive,” Minkong said.

Zhi Yang asked, ”Do you have friends in this city?”

”Even if I do, they have longed to return to the lands,” Minkong answered. ”Where are we going next? If possible I want to enter the ancient forest before night falls.”

”Entering the Ancient Forest might... Well, you will definitely be surprised,” Zhi Yue seems to be recalling the towering wooden walls that enclosed the whole forest and only through space teleportation that their entrance to the forest will be considered undetected.

The wooden walls act as radar. The moment one passes through it, anyone from the beastmen tribe will get informed and they would come over to eliminate the intruders. That’s why every time their group enters the ancient forest they would just teleport or use space portals made by Zhi Yue.

Minkong looked confused by the reactions of his new friends. Seeing his confusion the two systems suggested that they looked at the entrance of the ancient forest. The towering walls had left Minkong dumbfounded.

Shocked, Minkong couldn’t help but double check if what he is seeing right now is an illusion or not.

”This is... The Nature Spell: Forest Prison. Only beastmen shamans can do such a thing and these shamans only make a move when my wife gives orders.”

Minkong’s thoughts: ’This means that something had happened in the forest and as the leader of the Beastman Race, his mate chose to seal the forest. Preventing anyone from entering and leaving without his permission.’

Zhi Yang explained the situation, ”The situation is dire as you think. The humans had stolen beastmen eggs from the Ancient Forest even though they can just take away the beast eggs.”

”At first, the beastmen didn’t know until the day that even the leader of the beastman race’s eggs were stolen. It was finally that day that the beastmen found a hidden human facility in the ancient forest where they were experimenting on eggs. Not just beast eggs but also beastmen eggs as well.”

When Minkong heard that his and his mate’s egg was stolen, anger flared in his heart. It was only in this lifetime that he and his mate finally got an egg. Someone not only had stolen it, the human also wanted to experiment on their eggs.

Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang noticed the shift in atmosphere when they saw Minkong about to flare in anger and immediately appease him as they couldn’t do anything that would get the attention of others to them.

”You must calm down. Your eggs are alright. They had safely hatched as well,” Zhi Yue said.

Zhi Yang added, ”If the heavenly laws noticed you now, you won’t be able to see your mate and cubs. Hold back your anger, Minkong!”

It was only when dark clouds started to gather above Minkong that his anger slowly calmed down. However, his expression is still as ugly as it was supposed to be. Only when he had held back the aura that emits chaos energy had faded.

However, that sudden flare of chaos energy had caught the attention of two men. One of them was the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan, himself. The other one was the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.

Hunluan, who was enjoying his time with his other half, suddenly stood up and looked at the direction of the Ancient Forest. He instantly spread his divine consciousness and found the source of chaos energy that caught his attention.
