Learning the reason for blood within the clinic was because of the vice-captainʼs nosebleed. The police officers all laugh. Who would have thought that the mad doctor is quite a tough character. The type that launches a punch to your face.

”Vice-captain, your nose turned flat!”

”R-really!?” said vice captain Lev as he tried to touch his nose only to have his hand slapped by the doctor.

Doctor hei reprimands, ”Donʼt touch! Do you want it to swell further? Donʼt you want your nose anymore?”

”Wants!” Vice Captain Lev said.

Everyone once again laughed and watched as the doctor injected him with some pain killer for his acute gastritis. Only then did their vice captain rested on a clean bed with a relaxed expression now even his nosebleed had stopped bleeding.

Captain Lou Ye sat at the bedside where Vice captain Lev was lying and asked, ”Have you found anything, Lev?”

”Yes. I seem to have found the motive of the serial killer,” Vice captain Lev said.

Captain Lou Ye said, ”That pair of white wings. Before it was taken away by the killer , it seems all those he had killed were the first batch of humans who had seen it. According to my investigations, that pair of wings used to be owned by a wealthy man and he used those angel wings as decoration in his private villa.”

”There were at least 20 guests that attended that manʼs housewarming party. Among them are those victims of serial killings including Actor Xiu Mo and Manager Xue Lian. Moreover, more than half of those who attended that housewarming party either had gone missing or were found dead by us,” explained Vice captain Lev.

With a frown the police captain said, ”If the catalyst for his murder is that white feather wing, the whole city had seen it as it was shown in the flash news.”

”Yes, thatʼs why everyone in the city is now a target,” said vice captain Lev.

All of the sudden, an officer comes running looking for the captain. It seems something had happened tonight that he was being summoned by the higher ups.

”Captain Lou! Finally, I found you. The senior officials wanted you to come see them as soon as possible!”

”What happened?” asked Police Captain Lou Ye.

He noticed that the face of this intelligence division officerʼs face was pale as white and that he must have seen something unbelievable and terrifying to have this kind of expression on his face.

The police officer answered, ”One of those creatures had appeared and eaten... killed a lot of soldiers and police officers.”

As if recalling the live broadcast of human beings being eaten alive, the police officer immediately ran to the trash can and started hurling.

This is clearly not the first time he puked and might have done it multiple times before this. Though police were trained and experienced to see corpses or death scenes. The gruesome scene of humans being eaten alive, screaming and crying for help is a different story. It was as if hell had descended on earth like what was stored in myths.

”Eaten!?”

Captain Lou Ye felt something had gone wrong tonight and immediately left to find his superiors. Moreover, since itʼs the officials who were asking him to come over, it means that the situation is extremely serious.

As expected upon arriving at the conference, all of those who have positions as a team captain and above were summoned; this includes soldiers who are at least a major and above were all called over. The ordinary officers were asked to wait outside the conference room.

What made it worse is that this snake monster doesnʼt seem ordinary. Not only can it speak, it also possesses a strength beyond humans and his skin is tough making it hard for ordinary bullets to penetrate.

On the video recording one can see and hear a hoarse evil voice coming from the ugly black snake with red eyes.
