Chapter 1292: 18.130 First Grey Star - Those who remain, those who leave and those who return home.

The pair parted ways with one another and strolled around the central area while holding hands. The oceanʼs center is black as usual, but that does not bother this couple in the slightest. The two of them compare the sight of the larger-than-life aquatic creatures to strolling through an aquarium tunnel filled with fish and other marine life. A few fire wisps can be seen circling.

They like fireflies in the sea. It gave the serene landscape of the trench yet another lovely touch.

Mo Xuejing asked, ”AʼYe, why do I feel you are trying to spend all your time with me lately? Are you going somewhere else?”

”Itʼs not like that. But as you know, both you and I are not in our real bodies. You can exchange yours with Chaos anytime, but my real body is inside Ruins of Time. If the seal broke, then I have to be in my real body to come out. During those times we will be separated,” Ye Jieye explained.

This tale was told to Mo Xuejing by Grandpa Mu. That the gods that occupy that spooky black tower in the capital are the ones who gave him his current body, and that only his husbandʼs soul had managed to escape the ruins. If what Ye Jieye told him is true, then there is an explanation for this manʼs neediness.

However, the manʼs acts also left him with an unexplained sense, as though something in his heart was causing him anxiety.

”Is that really all?” Mo Xuejing asked. ”Actually, my intuition is giving me a different kind of feeling, as if a warning is about something that involves you. AʼYe, you wonʼt do anything dangerous, wonʼt you?”

This manʼs brief silence gave Mo Xuejing even more cause for concern. Silver and red clashed at each otherʼs sight as the couple gazed into each otherʼs eyes. The tableau was interrupted when the God of Void bent down to kiss Mo Xuejingʼs scarlet lips, even though the atmosphere between the two of them was still a little uneasy.

”I will come back alive. Itʼs not that dangerous. Donʼt worry,” Ye Jieye said.

Mo Xuejing said, ”Coaxing me with a kiss wouldnʼt do! Come here, explain it properly!”

He fled without alerting his spouse, who was acting like a child, and pursued him. The dark underwater realm resounds with the sound of the God of Voidʼs laughter. On the outside, he appeared unconcerned about Ye Jieye, but a voice in his heart was telling him not to believe him. This individual had no regard for his life.

The two that remained behind, however, were still reflecting on what they had heard about the disasters. Fei, the Heavenly Guardian, is doing fine. He only knew that the couple defies heaven in terms of power, therefore, he takes what they say to be true. However, the sea deity Lanyu became a true deity and awoke.

Even though he is stronger than the pair put together, he was aware that they might be outsiders. Perhaps they did not care about these tragedies, but then again, they did not care about other peopleʼs lives either.

Would an immensely strong person assist an ant in resolving their issues? That is just not realistic. Someone might approach, but that is a one-in-a billion chance, unless they are really bored. Judging by the detached way Ye Jieye observes them, he would not intervene until his wife specifically requested it.

He was aware that Ye Jieyeʼs horse was the fearsome black dragon that devoured the Heavenly Laws of this realm. The horse has much greater strength than he does.

Heavenly Guardian Fei asked, ”Senior, if the calamities are real, what should we do?”

”Make preparations. The Calamity of the Land is about to happen, even though itʼs a bit late. Making the two chosen stronger should be prioritized. I will help the one inside the Ocean Pearl. You guys must help the other one; you must find the catalyst that will awaken his power. Iʼm the God of Sea, so helping the one on the Ocean Pearl is my duty.

The other one, you must find a way to help him get stronger. He should already know how to awaken his full ability,” Sea God Lanyu said.

Heavenly Guardian Fei said, ”Indeed, if I am not wrong, the Lu Clanʼs main element is fire. Among the danger zones, there is only one that fits him.: Active Volcano Island, but that place... I donʼt want to go there to become a roasted fish.”

”Where are you going? I have chosen you as my successor. You cannot leave the ocean without my permission!” Sea God Lanyu stated.
