While Ye Xiajie and his team had finally reached the hidden village of the spirit race. The Wind Spirit King, Echo, didnʼt even know anything about his pending death. He was still flying through the labyrinth forest with urgency when suddenly the atmosphere in the forest had turned strange. His space in his surroundings started to distort as the shadows of everything in it gave him the feeling of being watched. 

Echo frowned as he looked at his weird surroundings.

”This is... A powerful element of darkness!! Impossible! Darkness element is as rare as an Ice Element. How come both elements which donʼt exist in this Labyrinth appear like this right now!?” said Echo to himself in disbelief.

”Hm? This darkness element... Isnʼt it...” with his face turning pale at the sight of his surrounding area turning dark, he knew things werenʼt going to be good. Especially when the usual red moon above him had turned back instead Echo knew he had fallen into someoneʼs domain. ”N-No... No! The one Iʼve found is an Ice God probability... If itʼs an aloof Ice God the possibility of us winning is still there but... Not a Dark God! Gods who possess the elements of Darkness are all cruel and mad. There is only death meeting one. Did I meet one?”

Echo was trembling as he felt the looming death hovering near him. But even though he is afraid he didnʼt forget to think about who might be trying to kill him. Then suddenly he remembered that human player with Dragon Bloodline looking at him with murderous eyes he tried to touch that possible God he had found for his race. A weakened God is a perfect energy resource for their village to continue to exist. He was a bit hasty and showed greed at that split moment and wanted to touch it. Now, this Wind Spirit King knew who wanted him.

With his eyes filled with fear in realization, Echo was regretting his actions until his intestines turned green. If only he thought twice about why a weakened God loved by Ice elements suddenly appeared for no reason, he wouldnʼt have offended someone he isnʼt supposed to.

Echo looked at the distorted sight of his surroundings dimming and swirling as he knew he had completely fallen into the other personʼs domain. He even saw a group of crows coming in his direction.

The Wind Spirit King mumbled as he fell in the grassland under him with his eyes full of despair and horror.

Echo said, ”That terrifying man called that sleeping Celestial Beauty his wife. If the wife is a weakened God how would the husband be more? In the Abyssal World, only that Supreme One had absolute control over the element of Darkness. The Evil God and the creator of this world, Supreme Lord Yan Lou.

Hehehe~ who would have thought that the mad God would hide within the group of mortals waiting for them to suffer and swim around before him like a fish out of the water. Watching them curse life and betray the others, treating mortals as characters on a stage playing before him.

He closed his eyes accepting his death. The crows made from the darkness all dived down towards him and he was eaten alive. Not even a piece of clothing was left behind. Only a few droplets of blood that others would hardly notice.

After completing the mission these crows made of darkness had melted together with the shadows within the forest. It only took a few minutes before everything in the Labyrinth Forest returns to normal as if nothing had happened at all

Silence~

Stillness had descended on the forest. Only a few players who were tailing Echo had witnessed his gruesome death. To watch a powerful spirit fairy king be eaten by the darkness helplessly was a terrifying sight. They can only try to lessen their presence afraid that those wicked shadows will kill them on sight as well.

Trembling behind the trees and bushes, some human players were shaking as if they were epileptic. But no one dared to utter a sound. They do not wish to risk their lives for the Wind Spirit King. He is merely a guide to the hidden forest and his attitude and personality are bad as well. So they watched as he was killed by the darkness.

They did not know did that or what killed the Wind Spirit King but they had heard his last few words.
