I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

A bit pissed by what he heard, he kicked his husband out of the room and said, ”Do your work properly, my dear marshal! Hmp!”

Then he saw the glowing little moon hovering beside him, Feng Jing grabbed it and threw it towards his husband who was hit directly on his forehead. Like a little ball, System Yue who wanted to resume his duties as his hostʼs system was thrown out together with his Lord God.

Feng Jingʼs voice from inside the room said, ”Go back to work. Iʼm staying here to meditate. Shoo!”

BANG! The door closed with a bam.

The marshal and the little system had no other choice but to go to the meeting and do their jobs. On their way, the way they bumped into Feng Wu just returned from escorting the student to the training area. Then the meeting had resumed like what had happened.

Feng Jing stayed in the infirmary while meditating. Lin Yven who just finished a session in the healing pod wakes up and is delighted to see his lord in front of him. 

”My lord I...” 

Lin Yven wanted to salute his lord but was stopped.

”Stay where you are and rest. After this you and Ying-gege will return to the Empire and start the process of rebirth,” said Feng Jing who opened his eyes from his meditation a few minutes ago and was now watching the live recording of the meeting happening at the main tent.

Feng Jing felt later to get out of the pod. He helped Lin Yven to lie down on one of the beds inside the infirmary. Obviously, the latter is still a bit dizzy from the aftereffects of the healing pod. 

”My lord, I am not going to war?” asked Lin Yven. 

”You are not and so is Ying-gege,” said Feng Jing as he was watching the whole process of the meeting with the help of the subsystem left on him by System Yue. The meeting progression is playing on the holographic screen before him.

Feng Jing frowns after hearing the contents of the meeting. He was a bit annoyed and stopped watching. He let Lin Yven watch it instead as he pulled out a set of tea and dessert from his dimensional space. In other peopleʼs eyes, he pulled out the things to his inventory gadget on him. 

Lin Yven, who was watching the meeting on his behalf, understood why his leader lost interest in the meeting. He had never expected the zergs to infiltrate the capital and successfully replace the members of the Imperial family.

”My lord, what should be done for this?” asked Lin Yven.

Feng Jing replied, ”You wonʼt be getting involved in this. Just focus on your rebirth and when you wake up things will be finished by then.”

”But I...!?”

”Lin Yven, do not waste the chance Xue Ying had begged the Gods to save you. To me, you have done well already. Thanks to you the plans for my assassination were halted before it could even take place. This contribution is big enough to excuse you from the war. After all, if I indeed died as theyʼve planned, the whole human race would be gone as my Sentinel would go mad with me gone.” said Feng Jing.

Student Lin Yven recalled that scene in the forest. The Marshal at that time was so inhuman that no one would dare to go against him at that moment. The scene of his lord coughing blood was something he couldnʼt forget.

”My lord, your injuries...”

Feng Jing smiled and said, ”Itʼs been healed. Do not worry about it. That was my choice. Like how youʼve chosen to risk your life to tell us the hideous plan of Major General Navi and his clan to save me. Thanks for your hard work, my aide.”

Lin Yven finally sighed in relief knowing that he was able to help his lord even at the risk of his life. He might not be able to accompany his lord and comrades in war but at least he knew that his teammates would be safe because his lord is alive. He knew that Feng Jing would let their little team die in the incoming war. 

Lin Yven saluted towards his lord with a smile and said, ”I wish you for your safety and victory for the war!”

Feng Jing returned the salute and said, ”Youʼve worked hard. Leave the rest to this Lord.”

This was the scene that Xue Ying and the rest had witnessed when they arrived at the infirmary. Knowing that these guys are coming, Feng Jing ended his conversation with Lin Yven like that. Letting Xue Ying and Major General Lin Tang inside the room, Feng Jing decided to leave to clean up the Navi Clan who dared to target him fearlessly. After learning that his grandfather Janus Stellan had given him his authority as his proxy means that his words are the same as Marshal Janus.
