The competition is about how many can each group kill a zerg. Only the team with the highest kill points will be given the opportunity to immediately join the lower rankings of their chosen brigade or unit.

The top three teams were allowed to choose from the units of the marshals. The Fallen God Unit. Under the Heavens Unit that is led by Marshal Janus and the Swords of the Crown Unit which is under the imperial familyʼs control.

The next top 4 to 15 are allowed to choose to join from the four great brigades: The Fire Phoenix Brigade, Azure Drakes Brigade, White Tiger Brigade, and the Black Turtle brigade

Just based on the name itself the Fire Phoenix Brigade is under the Feng Family and they were allied with the Fallen God Unit under the Marshal. The Azure Drakes Brigade is under Marshal Janusʼs control. Though they used to serve the Altair family everything had changed when the old ancestor of the Drake family had died and separated themselves from the Altair Family.

Because of this the Altair Family almost lost their standing as a semi-royal family thankfully Marshal Sirius appeared and protected his family from being demoted.

The White Tiger brigade under the Lin Clan is a neutral clan but they have a family alliance with the royal family as the second prince had married their youngest princess as consort. It could be said that they were a bit biased towards the Imperial family thanks to this.

The Navi Clan itself is a black snake. It had all connections to almost all factions. Since this clan had more female descendants than males, theyʼve made sure to create alliance marriages with all groups.
