Sacrificed To The Triplet Alpha Kings

And somewhere in this estate, Lilith was making her way toward his office, and he didn’t know if he’d be able to stop himself from devouring her the moment she walked through the door.

The knock came at 1:47 PM.

”Come in,” Nicholas said from behind his desk.

The door opened.

And Lilith walked inside.

She was still wearing the dark blue dress from her journey. Her hair was slightly tousled. There was a small smudge of dirt on her cheek, probably from the car ride, or from the road, or from a world that had decided she wasn’t worth keeping clean.

She didn’t notice the three brothers immediately.

It was only when she’d fully stepped inside the office that she saw them. Nicholas behind his desk, perfectly composed on the surface. Sebastian lounging in one of the leather chairs, one leg extended, his expression dark and predatory. Lucian standing by the window, golden eyes blazing, his entire body vibrating with contained energy.

She nearly turned to run.

But Nicholas’s voice stopped her before her feet could carry her back to the door.

”Close the door,” he said quietly. ”And lock it.”

She turned. Closed the door. Locked it with shaking hands.

The sound of the lock clicking into place echoed in the suddenly silent office.

”You were late,” Nicholas said. He was still seated, still composed, but there was something in his voice that made the air crackle. ”The instruction was clear. Back by morning. It’s now 1:47 in the afternoon.”
