Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 1328: Chapter 1242: It’s Time to Head to the Headquarters! (Wishing all book friends a joyous and peaceful Mid-Autumn Festival!)_2 In fact, Bai Xiaosheng is crafting with the aid of Red Lotus, expending an immense amount of energy in the process.

It’s manageable for a short time, but certainly unsustainable in the long run.

In just this short while, Bai Xiaosheng has already detected signs of fatigue. At this moment, pacing himself to observe Li Ni’s technique also serves as an adjustment.

Li Ni also starts from creating clay strips and clay slabs.

His motions are orderly and even carry a unique sense of beauty.

The clay strips and slabs he produced are perfect and flawless!

This is the true skill honed by the years!

Bai Xiaosheng exclaims in admiration.

...

When crafting teapots, artisans either work from a design or have a blueprint in their mind.

The latter is more challenging, and those who dare to follow the latter approach are inevitably stronger and more confident among their peers.

Li Ni is one of those people.

In fact, Bai Xiaosheng had previously discussed with Li Ni whether to create a Zisha teapot that is complex and finely shaped or one that is unadorned and natural.

Both styles have their own masterpieces that have stood the test of time.

Moreover, Bai Xiaosheng even jokingly suggested they could imitate the ”Yangxian Teapot Series” with its ”famous artisans, elegant styles, Divine Artifacts.”

Li Ni rejected the idea.

”This time, no imitation, I’ll make something of my own,” Li Ni said seriously at the time, ”and it won’t be just one teapot!”

Even top masters do not always create a teapot that becomes a timeless classic.

Inspiration is very ”capricious.”

Bai Xiaosheng understands this.

The two of them hunkered down on the second floor, staying up until eleven o’clock at night without any sign of activity.

Lin Weiwei was getting impatient.

Chen Yundi comforted her, ”The boss is always like this. There’s a whole floor inside, with a bathroom, a bedroom, and a drinking fountain. All we need to do is deliver meals. Moreover, the equipment inside is complete, including the final firing process. Everything can be done. When their work is completed, they will naturally come out.”

To this, Lin Weiwei had no choice but to wait.

On the first floor of the Li Ni Workshop, there are also bedrooms with beds. Lin Weiwei and Chen Yundi shared one, Lei Ying had another, and the rest of the people were dismissed to go home.

And so it went, a whole week passed by.

The door upstairs only opens at meal times.

Then they would send out the empty plates and bowls, and on the last two days, Bai Xiaosheng even told Lin Weiwei, who was delivering the food, that they had reduced three meals to two.

Unable to change this request, Lin Weiwei and the others varied their cooking to prepare high-nutrition food, along with fruits and hunger-relieving chocolates and such.

At this point, no one knew what exactly was going on upstairs, how far the progress had been made, whether it was a success, or they had encountered problems.

Lin Weiwei, Chen Yundi, and others were all in the dark, only able to wait.

Finally, on the morning of the eighth day, Lin Weiwei, Chen Yundi, Lei Ying, and other employees of the Li Ni Workshop were sitting downstairs as usual, each doing their own thing while also listening for any movement upstairs.

Before the mealtime, a noise came from the door upstairs.

The door opened.

In an instant, everyone looked up.

Bai Xiaosheng and Li Ni walked out one after the other, both appearing worn with heavy dark circles and disheveled hair, but they both looked spirited and their eyes were shining.

”Was it successful?”

Lin Weiwei and the two others immediately stood up, their eyes bright.

The employees of the Li Ni Workshop also gazed intently.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled, holding a large wooden box in his hands as he stepped downstairs. Li Ni followed behind, holding on to the banister. Having poured their hearts into several consecutive days, both men, especially Li Ni, looked a bit thinner and frail.

The wooden box in Bai Xiaosheng’s hands appears ordinary, but it’s actually made of alloy material, just fashioned with a wooden appearance. It’s custom-made, and it includes a secret lock. Inside, there’s thick lining, providing shock absorption, fall protection, and flame retardancy.

Without exaggerating, if that box were thrown down from the second floor, the ceramics inside would remain undamaged.
