Su Ping answered the call. ”Hello, Master Zhu?”

Su Ping nodded. ”Of course. Do you need something? Did your trip to the Imperial Capital go smoothly?”

Zhu Hong said with a smile, ”There’s nothing to go wrong. I just went to report on my work. Anyway, Old Liu and I will be arriving at the Heart of Myriad Spirits shortly!”

Su Ping raised an eyebrow, catching the underlying implication in Zhu Hong’s words. ”Is there something else?”

Obviously, given Zhu Hong’s relationship with Old Liu, there was no need to announce his arrival. Zhu Hong had stayed at the Heart of Myriad Spirits for more than two months recently, on top of spending over two months there during the New Year. Having stayed there for nearly half a year in total, there was absolutely no need for such formalities. The fact that he brought it up meant there was another situation at play.

Indeed, Zhu Hong paused before saying, ”Well, someone else has come with Old Liu and me this time.”

”Who?”

”She heard about the resurfacing of these extinct Plant-based Pet Beasts, so she couldn’t wait to come over and take a look.”

Su Ping nodded, unfazed. He had seen and heard of her before in the Hall Breeder backstage system. He had even replied to her email there. Thinking of this, he said, ”Alright, I understand. You can bring the senior Conner Breeder straight to the Forest Heart later. I have an experiment to run, so I won’t be rushing to receive her right away.”

Zhu Hong was taken aback for a moment before letting out a helpless, bitter smile. ”Alright, you rascal.”

Hanging up the phone, Su Ping immediately tossed the matter to the back of his mind and headed excitedly toward the Forest Heart.
