Beast Taming: the More the Better

Without a second thought, Su Ping took Toothy with him and, ignoring Uncle Guan’s astonished gaze, immediately activated his talent, the Levitation Skill.

He leaped from the Heart of Phoenix down to the foot of the mountain.

Uncle Guan had little knowledge of Controlling Beasts and couldn’t discern the power Su Ping was using. Su Ping figured he could later explain it away as either technological power or the power of his own Pet Beast.

Right now, the little crow’s safety was paramount.

Taking the little crow, Su Ping drove the tour vehicle back to the laboratory area within the Heart of Woods. Without pausing to greet Li Shu or Guan Lili, he placed the little crow on the Life Detector.

Seeing Su Ping’s anxious demeanor, Li Shu and Guan Lili also hurried over. Li Shu was the first to speak,

”Bro Ping, we’ve checked Toothy’s condition before. Its vital signs show no obvious issues! Besides, it strongly resists when we try to examine it.”

Su Ping nodded. He understood it was normal for the little crow, being wild, to resist anyone other than himself.

And the final results were indeed just as Li Shu had said.

There was nothing wrong with the little crow. It had no internal or external injuries, and its Energy was abundant.

Then what could be the problem?

Su Ping’s brow furrowed slightly. He then directly picked up the edible resources Li Shu had prepared nearby.

Sure enough, when he offered it to the little crow’s beak, Toothy remained listless, clearly lacking any appetite.
