Beast Taming: the More the Better

Su Ping was too tired to even retort to Miss Qin’s remarks and merely shot her a glance. She has no idea. After all, since her return, she had only been amusing herself with her Xiao Qing. But when had he, Su, the great Breeder, had a moment’s rest all day? Commanding all the rented Forest Wolves, coordinating them, attending to the injured ones, and ensuring no Forest Wolf disobeyed his commands—he hadn’t stopped for a single moment. Besides, this job truly wasn’t something an ordinary person could handle.

Fortunately, there were rewards. If nothing else, of the sixteen Forest Wolves, a full three had experienced breakthroughs in their Skill Levels today! Thinking of the astonished looks from the Beast Tamers he had battled, a smile curled at the corner of Su Ping’s mouth.

That’s right, just within a single day, three Forest Wolves had their Skills break through. Although all of them had merely progressed from Beginner to Proficiency—the most basic Level—it was still enough to prove that in such combat, the improvement and breakthrough of Skill Levels were indeed swift. That was the very essence of practical combat.

However, engaging in such battles while also renting out Pet Beasts was indeed too taxing. So much so that Su Ping no longer had the energy to supervise the Self-Healing Skill training in the evening. At this thought, he began to feel as though the effort might not be worth the gains.

He shook his head helplessly. Even though it’s not ideal, Su Ping resolved, this Pet Beast rental business will either have to wait until I can hire people to manage it without my direct involvement, or I’ll have to cut back on such arduous tasks in the future.

In the past, Su Ping chose to rent Pet Beasts from Uncle Guan for actual combat training instead of having his own Forest Wolves fight each other.
