Best Young Master

Of all this, Ye Fan and Su Jindi were unaware, having already left the airport building.

”Ye Fan, how come you look different? Is there a cultivation method that allows for changing appearance?” Su Jindi curiously asked as she walked toward the parking lot with Ye Fan.

”No, I’m just wearing a human skin mask to achieve the disguise.”

Ye Fan shook his head, speaking truthfully, then reminded, ”I have other matters to attend to in Japan and should not reveal my identity, so don’t mention this to anyone.”

”Sure, I got it.”

Su Jindi quickly nodded, not daring to pry further into what Ye Fan was planning to do.

Shortly after, Ye Fan and Su Jindi got into the waiting sedan, and the driver started the car, taking them to their residence.

”Call President Xu, I need to speak with him,” Ye Fan pondered for a moment and then instructed the driver.

”Right away, Mr. Chu.” The driver immediately responded.

Fearing that revealing his identity might compromise his mission to locate the Spirit Vein (Essence Stone), Ye Fan not only disguised himself to infiltrate Japan but also disclosed his real identity only to Xu Biao, the head of the Tianshan Group’s Japanese office; everyone else merely knew him as Mr. Chu, a high-ranking official sent by Lady Chu to handle affairs in Japan.

As he finished speaking, the driver immediately took out his phone and dialed to contact Xu Biao, the person in charge of the Tianshan Group’s Japanese office.

”Hello, is there a new request or arrangement from Mr. Chu’s end?” The phone was quickly connected, and Xu Biao’s anxious and uneasy voice came through the receiver.

”President Xu, it’s me,” Ye Fan identified himself.

”I’m very sorry, I haven’t finished handling my matters here and didn’t come to pick you up. Is there something you need me to do?”

Xu Biao recognized Ye Fan’s voice, his tone extremely respectful, yet still tinged with anxiety and unease.

”President Xu, has your daughter gotten into trouble?” Ye Fan asked back instead of answering.

”How... how did you know?!”

On the other end of the phone, Xu Biao was startled, almost dropping his phone.

”We’ll discuss this matter in detail when I get back,”

Ye Fan said, though he was already sure that the Huaxia female student who was assaulted to death by Asakura No and the other six delinquents was likely Xu Biao’s daughter, his eyes narrowing.

”Someone’s going to pay!”

Su Jindi thought to herself upon seeing Ye Fan narrow his eyes.
