Best Young Master

When the clock pointed to eleven o’clock at night, Huaxia Standard Time in the Southeast Asia Special Zone, Ye Wenhao and his son Ye Fan downed a whole case of Moutai liquor.

Although neither of them used their power to expel the alcohol from their bodies, their physical functions far surpassed those of ordinary people, making alcohol’s effects on them negligible, as if they were drinking cold water.

”Buzz~”

Shortly afterwards, as the father and son were about to clean up the dinner table together, the sound of a vibrating cellphone came from the living room.

”Dad, you answer the call, I’ll clean up,” Ye Fan said with a smile upon hearing the noise.

Ye Wenhao threw the wine bottle back into the box, nodded, and walked toward the living room.

”Hello, Director Yan.”

Soon, Ye Wenhao reached the coffee table in the living room, picked up the phone, and directly answered the call from Yan Lei, greeting him first.

”Special Chief, the intelligence your people requested has been gathered; how would you like to receive it?” Yan Lei inquired.

”Director Yan, your people really work efficiently,” Ye Wenhao replied with a compliment, and after a moment’s thought, he said, ”I’ll give you an email address, send it to me via email.”

”Alright.”

Yan Lei agreed succinctly, hesitated for a moment, and asked, ”Special Chief, were you planning on talking to the heads of those underground forces yourself, to deter them from causing further chaos?”

”I was planning on doing so, but later I felt the feasibility wasn’t high,” Ye Wenhao responded.

”Oh?”

Yan Lei was slightly taken aback, then suddenly realized that Ye Wenhao’s tone was no longer heavy, but rather carried a hint of joy, and he asked with perplexity, ”What’s your plan then?”

”I haven’t decided yet, but I’ve always believed that evil can never overcome good, and there will always be a way when we get to the mountain,” Ye Wenhao replied solemnly, his words brimming with confidence.

Noticing the confidence in Ye Wenhao’s tone, Yan Lei felt even more puzzled, but he could tell that Ye Wenhao didn’t want to divulge more, so he didn’t continue to pry and ended the call with some pleasantries.

”This is really strange; with the situation so urgent, Ye Wenhao has become confident; could he really have some ingenious plan up his sleeve?”

After ending the call, Yan Lei received Ye Wenhao’s text message and looked at the email address, silently questioning himself.

There was no answer.

Despite racking his brains, Yan Lei couldn’t come up with an explanation and still believed it was a deadlock.

Helpless, he stopped thinking about it and sent the detailed data on the major underground forces of the Southeast Asia Special Zone and information on their leaders to Ye Wenhao via email.

Meanwhile, Ye Wenhao received the email and immediately downloaded it to his desktop.

”Ding——”

With a crisp sound, a notification from Thunder signified the download completion, and the universe’s most advanced laptop chirped softly.

At the same time, Ye Fan threw out the trash outside the villa and turned back to the living room.

”Xiao Fan, this file contains detailed information about the major underground forces in the Southeast Asia Special Zone, including their territories, illicit businesses, and specifics about the leaders,” Ye Wenhao said, pointing to the encrypted file he had downloaded, ”This file has been specially processed by the Yanhuang Organization. It can only be viewed, and as soon as it’s closed, it will self-destruct, including the laptop’s own system.”

”I understand,” Xiao Fan nodded; he had once trained with the Yanhuang Organization’s Qin Hai and knew this was one of the organization’s security measures.

”You take a look first,” Ye Wenhao stood up to give up his seat and added, ”The situation may be chaotic at the moment, but I can hold the fort, so there’s no need to rush.”

Ye Fan just smiled and didn’t say anything, but instead, took the laptop and power cord upstairs to the study.

Seeing this, Ye Wenhao didn’t follow but quietly went out to the villa’s courtyard to cultivate.

Although he had been unable to break through the Gang Qi Realm because he had practiced the magical martial art ’Burning Nine Heavens’ against Ling Yun’s advice, he never neglected his training.

It was the best way for him to remember Ling Yun.

Shortly after Ye Wenhao went out to the yard, Ye Fan pushed open the door and entered the study.
