Best Young Master

”Third brother, I know you dote on him because of your guilt, but what he just said is clearly an insult to dad, an insult to our entire Ye Family! He must pay a price for this!!” Ye Wenling also snapped back from his shock, glaring furiously at Ye Fan.

”A price?”

Ye Fan sneered coldly, his gaze sharp as a knife as he stared at a flickering surveillance camera in the courtyard, suddenly yelling out, ”Ye Zhen, I’ll only give you one minute. If you don’t show up, even if you use a palanquin to invite me in the future, I won’t set foot in the Ye Family even for half a step!!”

Expect Ye Zhen to appear within a minute?

Otherwise, even if Ye Zhen used a palanquin to invite him, he still wouldn’t step half a foot into the Ye Family??

Ye Fan’s booming voice exploded like thunder above the Courtyard, leaving everyone stunned!

Stunned.

Flabbergasted.

All struck dumb.

Under the lights, Ye Wenling and the others stood frozen on the spot as if they had been subjected to an immobilization spell, their faces filled with disbelief as they looked at Ye Fan, resembling a row of statues.

Even, they thought their ears were hallucinating!

Indeed...

Hallucinations!

Because they simply could not imagine what Ye Fan was relying on to speak to Ye Zhen in such a manner!

Because of Ye Wenhao’s backing?

They believed, just for Ye Fan’s earlier words, Ye Wenhao would also be implicated!

Not just them, even Qin Yan, who knew the insider details, was somewhat shocked.

In her opinion, even if Old Master Ye had once invited Ye Fan back to the Ye Family, Ye Fan still shouldn’t speak to Ye Zhen like that!

The only one not shocked was Ye Wenhao.

Like Ye Fan, he was looking at the flickering surveillance camera, seemingly considering how the senior members of the Ye Family would manage the situation.

”Dad, what do we do next?”

From the study in the backyard, Ye Zhen and Ye Yuanshan watched everything that just transpired, with the feeling that the situation was somewhat out of control, concern evident in their eyes.

”If you’re going to sharpen a knife, you must be prepared to cut your hand, and have the courage to amputate if necessary,” Ye Yuanshan, who had lived for over a century and witnessed countless storms, remained calm, ”Besides, if we don’t let him vent his resentment, even if he lives in the Ye Family Mansion, he cannot be considered as truly returning to the Ye Family! How can we expect to gain the support of Chu Xuanji backing him then?”

”I was overthinking it.”

Hearing this, Ye Zhen had an epiphany and couldn’t help but sigh.

Ye Yuanshan’s gaze flickered, ”This kid is quite ruthless. You better hurry, otherwise if he leaves, all our efforts would have been in vain.”

”Yes!”

Ye Zhen nodded and stood up, walking out of the study and making his way quickly towards the front courtyard.
