The CEO’s Villainess Childhood Friend

Chapter 216: I Came to Stay With You (1)

Qiao Moyu had been guessing the opponent’s status. When Ye Peiqing turned, she finally understood.

Seeing that she wasn’t scared, Ye Peiqing couldn’t help but be curious. ”What? Aren’t you scared of me?”

Qiao Moyu looked around and noticed that there was only one door and window in the room. It would be very difficult to escape. Plus, she felt herself losing her strength quickly. Her eyes felt heavy and the feeling of sleepiness spread.

”What’s your motive for bringing me over?” Qiao Moyu asked.

Ye Peiqing pulled a chair over and sat down. He crossed one leg over the other. He said lazily, ”It depends on my Second Brother’s decision in what I do to you.”

As he said this, he took out his phone and placed it on speaker, calling Ye Peicheng.

The phone was almost immediately picked up. Ye Peicheng said calmly, ”Hey.”

”Second Brother, it’s me.” Ye Peicheng sat against the light. The sunset glow and his dark silhouette made a clear contrast. ”You must want to know who else is besides me, right?”

Ye Peicheng said, his tone unchanged, ”Who?”

”Your Moyu.” Ye Peiqing lightly laughed. ”Everyone said that she was Priest Qing Yin. Those who forwarded her posts will have good luck. Then what will happen if I interact with her intimately?”

He continued to say, ”I see that your project has been going on successful. Is it because of her?”

Right now, Qiao Moyu was on the verge of falling asleep. She tried her best to open her eyes but the sleepiness was taking over.

Her gaze was flickering and her eyelids felt heavy. Her brain was a mess.

In this haze, Qiao Moyu suddenly heard Ye Peicheng’s voice ringing from afar. ”Do you want to know? Then go ahead and try.”

Ye Peiqing was shocked, as though his fist had punched against cotton. On the other side of the call, he had hung up.

There was still a slight thump in the room. Ye Peiqing glanced but realized that Qiao Moyu had fallen asleep. Because her body toppled over, it knocked against items in the room.

He walked to Qiao Moyu and kneeled down in front of her. His gaze landed on Qiao Moyu’s delicate and beautiful face. He was about to reach over and touch her.

At this time, the door was suddenly banged open. Seven or eight police officers rushed in and quickly surrounded Ye Peiqing. ”Mr. we believe that you kidnapped this Miss. Please come back with us and accept this investigation.”

Ye Peiqing was shocked, clearly not expecting for police to come. There was no one in the alley so no one should’ve seen. Plus, Qiao Moyu didn’t call the police. Even if Ye Peicheng did, there was no way they could’ve been so quick!

He had calculated that Ye Peicheng can’t promise to save Qiao Moyu immediately so during this time, it was enough for him to rape her. Therefore, he had called him fearlessly to threaten Ye Peicheng!

But now…

Although he didn’t know why the police had come, Ye Peiqing had the ability to prove himself innocent. There was no need to resist or try to escape.

Therefore, he cooperatively stood up. ”There must be some misunderstandings but I can cooperate with you guys in investigating this.”

Who knew that he just walked a few steps when he noticed the paparazzi standing by the door.

Numerous lights flickered and flashed. The reporters rushed in and fought in delivering the microphone to Ye Peiqing. ”Mr. Ye, someone had reported you hiring jobless people to kidnap Miss Qiao. Is that so?”

”Mr. Ye, why did you kidnap Miss Qiao?”

”Miss Qiao is unconscious right there. How does Mr. Ye plan to explain this?”

Right now, the veins on Ye Peiqing’s forehead were pulsing. He fisted his hands. If at first he didn’t know who did it, then seeing the reporters now, he knew it was definitely Ye Peicheng!

He didn’t expect that Ye Peicheng would have people protecting Qiao Moyu in secret. This made him fall in his trap!
