The CEO’s Villainess Childhood Friend

Chapter 49: Hair Pulling (1)

Qiao Moyu wasn’t sure if the ”Master of Kaiguang” profession existed in this world. She never paid attention to this detail when reading the novel, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t mentioned in the story.

After all, when she went on set for ’Sheng Shi,’ she recalled that a certain crew asked for help in choosing an auspicious day for their premier.

So Qiao Moyu immediately went online to check the newest drama and confirmed her guess.

This weekend, a small-budget movie will be launched in all major cinemas. Since it wasn’t directed by someone famous, nor did it cast a popular star, there were reports online that the film had been rejected to broadcast in several famous cinemas, while the other cinemas that did accept it only scheduled two showing a day before planning to take it down in about a week.

The official blog for this film issues daily release announcements, but there were only a few comments below, showing that the guests were few and far between.

In general, there’s a saying that sick people will rush to the hospital and won’t hesitate to sign the bill. Naturally, Qiao Moyu had to start seeking out those kinds of desperate customers.

That night, after lulling Luo Luo to asleep, Qiao Moyu placed an order online and bought a full set of props.

In recent years, the specialty of a product was evident from its packaging. Qiao Moyu bought a full set of priest’s robes, a horsetail whisk, a peach wood sword, and some candlestick paper.

Actually, she didn’t need so many things to ’open the light’ and the process didn’t have to be so tedious. But she also knew that if she didn’t do any kind of special action, no one would believe in her ability. These days, evil men can easily deceive and harm whereas those who were honest had difficulty convincing others.

After buying the list of items, she began to study her script once again.

But for some reason, when she picked up the same script once again, she suddenly found that her thoughts had become clearer.

In the past, those emotional scenes that didn’t make sense suddenly seemed deep and insightful. Even as she closed her eyes, she could imagine how to get into character and express love and hatred with her body language and eye movements.

Is it because I read the original host’s diary today?Perhaps learning of the past and how the original host had saved her allowed her to fully accept her new identity. In her heart, she resolved to help the original host to achieve her dream and take her son as her own, promising to raise him well.

The original host’s dream since childhood not only involved Xing Yichen; she also wanted to become a film empress. So she worked hard for many years. She learned stage drama since childhood and continued to study scripts later on. However, in the original book, she was unable to make a breakthrough due to the pressure from the Qiao family and Xing Yichen.

The following afternoon, Qiao Moyu arrived early at the site of auditions. She sat down at the waiting area and continued to study the script.

Since it’s been a while since coming to this world, Qiao Moyu could recall the faces of front-line artists. But while there were plenty of female artists who came today, their appearances were relatively unfamiliar. Qiao Moyu simply glanced around her before looking back down on her script.

Soon, both the director and the assistant director came back from their dinner break. The staff called for the first auditioner to prepare.

The door finally closed and nobody knew the situation inside. Meanwhile, outside the auditioning room, Qiao Moyu heard someone say, ”I heard that Zhang Cen Cen will be coming to audition morning!”

”Ah…she’s here too. Does that mean there’s no hope for me?”

”In fact, it would be good if only one of the famous ’flowers’ came, but I heard at least two powerful contenders will be coming!”

”Forget it, let it be!”

While everyone was discussing, there was a sudden uproar outside.

Soon, the door to the waiting room opened and a young woman walked in. She wore a long white dress with clear temperament and an overwhelming aura. When she came in, the other auditioners couldn’t help but gasp.
