639: Chapter 0639: Work Garbage 639: Chapter 0639: Work Garbage Ever since this incident occurred, no one believed her!

Although Boss Liu didn’t say it outright, it was evident from his gaze that he didn’t believe her either!

Only Brother Yu wholeheartedly believed in her!

“Xiaoxiao, rest assured, I will definitely get to the bottom of this matter and clear your name!” Qin Yu said with unwavering determination.

Chu Xiaoxiao nodded vigorously.

“Brother Yu, actually, I’ve also been suspecting that there’s something wrong with this situation.

I’ve never seen this minor magazine, and I can be a hundred percent certain that I definitely didn’t plagiarize!

In the design world, it’s common to have overlapping ideas, but for them to match so completely, from the concept to the philosophy, and even the materials used, is a bit off!”

Qin Yu cracked a faint smile: “Not just that is off, Xiaoxiao’s design won a first prize!

With such a good piece, why did Huang Siyan from Lingyun only publish it in a magazine with such low circulation?

If Huang Siyan were a newcomer, it would be understandable; lacking opportunities to make a name for herself, she might hope to gain recognition through the magazine.

But Huang Siyan is a well-known designer!

Even if she wanted to publish, why choose a magazine with such small distribution?

She should have chosen an architecture magazine with the highest circulation!”

Qin Yu’s words gave both of them an epiphany!

Before Qin Yu mentioned it, no one had doubted the magazine’s role, but now it seemed very suspicious!

There was definitely a problem!

Liu Tian’s eyes lit up!

“Brother Yu, you really have a clear insight!

Huang Siyan would never publish such good design in that magazine.

As long as we find the publisher of the magazine, we should be able to uncover the truth!”

Qin Yu spoke gravely, “If I’m not mistaken, the publisher of this minor magazine must have been bought off.

We also need other physical evidence, such as Xiaoxiao’s drafts.”

“Drafts?

I have those!

I have them!

How could I not have thought of this?” Chu Xiaoxiao quickly searched on her desk, then through the trash can, and soon, her expression turned extremely grim.

Gone!

All of her original and draft sketches were gone!

Seeing Chu Xiaoxiao’s face of despair, Liu Tian asked sternly, “Xiaoxiao, what are you doing rummaging through the trash can?”

“Boss Liu, I’m looking for my drafts and sketches!

If I find them, at the very least, it can prove that the work was designed by me.”

“Xiaoxiao, are you joking?

If I remember correctly, you spent three days on this design.

Are you saying that you didn’t throw out the trash at all during those three days?”

Liu Tian rolled his eyes, suddenly feeling somewhat skeptical of Chu Xiaoxiao.

“Of course I threw out the trash, but we designers usually have two trash cans, one for household waste.

To avoid forgetting our ideas and mistakenly throwing away creative material, we have a second can for work-related waste.

Household waste is cleared every day, while work-related waste is normally discarded after the entire project is completed!

Because the competition was so rushed, I simply didn’t have the time to dispose of the work-related waste.”

“Little Tian, you really don’t know much about your own company, not even aware that designers need two different trash cans,” Qin Yu said with a twisted smile.

Liu Tian scratched his head in slight embarrassment.

Indeed, he hadn’t paid much attention to the design department; the only thing he had concerned himself with previously was Zhang Dandan.
