Su, my contract with Hong Yue expires next month.

If you’re interested in my proposal just now, we can have a good chat about it,”

Wang Zixin suppressed the excitement in his heart and looked at Su Ziyan with as calm a tone as possible.

Expires next month?

That means there’s a certain feasibility to this.

Su Ziyan pondered for a moment and responded indifferently, “Director Wang is waiting for me.

I’ll keep your proposal in mind, and we can talk about it another day.”

“Director Wang?

Is it Wang Xiaogang?

May I know in which hall he is?

I’ll go and toast to him later.”

Wang Zixin got excited.

He knew that Wang Xiaogang had a close partnership with Qingcheng Model Agency, and even though Qu Xiang’s skills were far inferior to his, he had made a name for himself almost as prominent as his by landing roles in several films and TV series.

“Yes, it’s Director Wang Xiaogang, in Haitang Hall on the sixth floor.

Mr.

Wang, you go ahead with your business, I’ll head there now.”

“Take care, Ms.

Su.”

Su Ziyan nodded reservedly and then walked gracefully toward the elevator.

Wang Zixin watched her until she entered the elevator and then finally diverted his gaze.

Yu Peilin was also very excited—Director Wang Xiaogang!

He was one of the most sought-after directors in Dragon Country, having directed several major plays.

Full of anticipation, Yu Peilin said, “Zixin, if you get into Director Wang’s crew, don’t forget to land me a role with some lines, the kind that shows my face.”

“No problem,” Wang Zixin replied with a smile, nodding.

It was easy to get speaking roles for crowd actors, especially with Yu Peilin’s looks.

“Really?

You’re too good to me, Zixin!”

If they hadn’t been in the hotel lobby, Yu Peilin probably would have thrown herself at him without a care.

Yu Peilin hugged Wang Zixin’s arm tightly.

Wang Zixin had originally booked a private room on the fifth floor, but hearing that Wang Xiaogang was on the sixth floor, his mind whirred, and he quickly made his way to the service desk.

“Mr.

Wang, good day.

How can I assist you?” The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic.

“Hello, I’d like to cancel the private room I booked earlier and switch to one on the sixth floor,” said Wang Zixin with a smile.

The front desk clerk quickly checked and said softly, “Mr.

Wang, there are only Lanzhi Hall and Haitang Hall left on the sixth floor.

Which one would you like to switch to?”

“Which hall is closer to Haitang Hall?”

A smug smile appeared on Wang Zixin’s face.

He had already written the script in his mind; he absolutely had to engineer a coincidental meeting with Director Wang.

“Lanzhi Hall is right next to Haitang Hall.”

“Okay, then Lanzhi Hall it is,” said Wang Zixin, his eyes lighting up.

“Mr.

Wang, if you choose Lanzhi Hall, you’ll have to pay an additional five thousand,”

Wang Zixin nodded and quickly pulled out his bank card to pay.

Paying an extra five thousand for a chance to get close to Wang Xiaogang was totally worth it!

After securing the private room, Yu Peilin immediately posted a message in the group chat: “Everyone, please gather at Lanzhi Hall on the sixth floor of Haitian Hotel.”

As soon as this message was sent, the entire alumni WeChat group exploded.

Some of Yu Peilin’s classmates had done quite well for themselves, and they knew what booking Lanzhi Hall on the sixth floor signified.

“Peilin’s boyfriend is so generous.

Being a renowned Huaxia model befits her, just the rental fee for Lanzhi Hall is at least ten thousand,” someone commented.

“Yeah, seems like Peilin made the right move dumping Qin Yu back in the day.

Speaking of which, it’s been a long time since Qin Yu showed up,” another added.

“I heard Qin Yu went abroad to become a mercenary, right?

Wonder if he’s back yet.”

“It’s hard to understand.

Qin Yu was the top student in our school, yet he chose to be a mercenary?

If he had gone to Qinghua or Jingda, maybe Peilin wouldn’t have broken up with him.”

Reading through her classmates’ chat records, Yu Peilin’s face turned shades of red and white.
