Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

”It’s a secret, you’ll know when the time comes.”

What, this thing?

Jiang Jinsang looked down at the video recorded on his phone, he felt embarrassed to show off with just this.

Students whose performances had ended usually sat on the side watching. After all, it was the last day of class, and everyone seemed quite excited. Children inherently have less self-control than adults and were chatting amongst each other.

Jiang Xiaowai was there, aside from Jiang Sese, he had made some other friends and was already playing around, running inside and outside the venue.

Soon, Jiang Sese’s performance also ended. The first thing she did after performing was go wash her hands.

”Sese, where are you going?” Jiang Xiaowai saw her leaving.

”Going to wash my hands.”

Jiang Xiaowai was used to it by now, and Jiang Sese specifically went to say hello to her parents. The restroom was very close, just on the other side of the hallway outside the venue.

”Shall I go with you?” Lin Luyou was about to get up.

”I can do it myself.” At this age, children could do many things on their own under their parents’ guidance, especially something as simple as washing hands.

They had been attending classes here for over forty days, very familiar with everything, no need for anyone to guide them.

The sink outside the restroom was designed for adults and was a bit high. Jiang Sese skillfully stood on tiptoe, turned on the faucet, used some hand soap, and was just about to take a handkerchief from her pocket to dry her hands when suddenly someone approached and handed her a tissue.

She looked up with her small face, it was that same person again.

Even though Jiang Sese was young, her parents had taught her some things about avoiding abduction. After this person had appeared several times, she was now alert.

”Thank you, I have my own.” Jiang Sese took out her handkerchief, ready to leave.

”I just... saw your performance, it was pretty good.” Jiang Zhaolin bent his knees, half bending down, took a box from his pocket and handed it to her, a semi-transparent box containing a child’s watch, ”Do you like it? It’s for you.”

Jiang Sese looked at the box for two seconds, ”Mom and Dad say not to take things from strangers.”

”I’m not a stranger, I’m your dad’s...” Jiang Zhaolin’s voice caught, ”friend.”

Obviously, Jiang Sese didn’t believe it. Her dad was inside, if he was a friend, why give her things secretly? Despite being young, she wasn’t dumb, shook her head and tried to leave.

”I’m really not a bad person, take it.” Jiang Zhaolin seemed a bit anxious too.

Currently, to be accurate, he had two granddaughters, one living with the Si Family whom he couldn’t approach, and Jiang Sese was usually with Jiang Shiyi and his wife, she only attended summer classes outside, which gave him this opportunity. Under normal circumstances, it was difficult to meet her.

Today was also the last day of the coaching class, if he missed today, seeing her again would be difficult.

He had bought things specifically, naturally wanting to give them to her.

”I don’t want it.” Jiang Sese realized he was trying to force the thing on her and became a bit anxious.

”No problem, keep it, don’t be afraid, I’m really not a bad person.”

Though Jiang Zhaolin said this, he did not realize that his attempt to force the gift was already quite frightening for a child.

”I really don’t want it—” Jiang Sese tried to run away, but Jiang Zhaolin grabbed her arm, ”Dad—”

She instinctively called for someone, but suddenly cheers and applause came from inside the venue, drowning out her voice, and Jiang Zhaolin was clearly afraid of bringing Jiang Shiyi over, ”Don’t shout, I’m really not a bad person.”

”Let go of me.” The little girl was clearly scared by his actions.

There were already children running back and forth in the hallway; one saw this and hurriedly went to tell Jiang Xiaowai.

”Jiang Mutang, I saw your sister with a strange grandpa.”

Strange grandpa?

Could it be that person again?

Jiang Xiaowai frowned: ”Where is she?”

”At the restroom door!”

Jiang Xiaowai was nearby playing with some boys. As a child, he didn’t consider things comprehensively; his first action was not to inform the adults, but to rush over himself.

From a distance, he could see the two seemed to be in a scuffle, obviously, Jiang Sese wanted to leave.

”Sese—” Jiang Xiaowai hurried over, attempting to help his sister escape, ”You bad person, what are you doing!”

”I’m not a bad person!”
