Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

These two were still a pair of bachelors, with Jiang Cuo having had a girlfriend a couple of years ago, seemingly even reaching the stage of discussing marriage. At the time he lived with Jiang Jiu, but moved out to live with his girlfriend after he started dating.

Before leaving, he even treated Jiang Jiu to a meal to thank him for years of care and hoped he’d soon find a partner.

One week later, on a stormy night, he returned with a suitcase to his old home.

Exactly how they broke up, no one knew.

Anyway, the two of them are still living together now.

”Here are the aquarium tickets,” Jiang Jiu said as he drove, while Jiang Cuo sat in the passenger seat and handed him four tickets. ”I checked for you, the orca shows are at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., and I’ve also planned the tour route for you.”

”Alright.”

Apart from bringing his son, Jiang Jinsang would definitely take Jiang Sese too, while Jiang Shiyi and his wife didn’t join in the fun.

”They say the restaurant inside is nice, just a bit expensive,” Jiang Cuo had already prepared their itinerary for them. ”Since it’s the summer vacation, I estimate there’ll be a lot of people. If you want to take the kids, it’s best to go a bit earlier.”

”I got it.”

**

Jiang Jinsang looked down at the itinerary while Tang Wan was thinking about what to have for lunch with the children.

According to the plan, they could reach the Taekwondo Hall around 10:40 a.m., and the training would end at 11 a.m. They could make it in time, but they underestimated the travel peak congestion.

As it was approaching 11 a.m., Tang Wan called the Taekwondo Hall’s coach to explain the situation, asking them to help look after the kids for a while.

After the training ended, besides cleaning up the venue, the coach had to handle some parents’ inquiries, making it difficult to stay with the siblings all the time. ”Mutang, your mom called to say she’s stuck in traffic and will be a few minutes late. You guys wait in my office.”

”Alright.”

Staying in the office was more appropriate.

The siblings folded their clothes, stuffed them into their backpacks, and followed the coach inside. The coach poured them some water and gave them some snacks, advising them to stay put and not go out.

From time to time, more parents came to pick up their children or consulted the coach, leading people to occasionally knock on the door and enter.

Jiang Xiaowai was as happy as could be lately. His third uncle was very nice to him, and his fourth uncle bought him a small motorbike. Though not as cool as his own, it could give his sister a ride. He was thinking of bragging to his little uncle when he returned.

At that moment, someone else knocked and entered.

With the previous experiences, Jiang Xiaowai saw the person come in and said, ”The coach isn’t here.”

”Is that so?” The person smiled awkwardly but didn’t leave.

Jiang Xiaowai then took a good look at him, finding him somewhat familiar, and Jiang Sese also turned to look, seemingly recognizing the person instantly.

”Grandpa, do you have something?” Jiang Xiaowai jumped down from his chair. Wasn’t this the person from before?

The face was thin, but the appearance was different from regular grandfathers. In Pingjiang, Jiang Xiaowai often accompanied Grandpa Tang to various small parks, and this person’s eyes were quite different from the grandpas and grandmas he had seen.

Very strange.

That’s why, the first time they met, Jiang Xiaowai was on guard, possibly due to a child’s sixth sense.

”I...” He stammered, seemingly unsure of what he wanted to do. ”I came to consult the coach about something. Since he’s not here, I’ll wait for him here.”

With that, he stepped inside, and Jiang Xiaowai sat beside Jiang Sese, facing him with a wary look.

”Want some candy?” He pulled out some finely wrapped Swiss candy from his pocket.

”No,” Jiang Xiaowai shook his head.

”How long have you been learning this?” the man asked with a smile, but his gaze was fixated on Jiang Sese to the side.

”Not long.” Jiang Xiaowai held his sister’s hand tightly, feeling that this unexpected person was very strange.

He was debating whether to take his sister and leave, worried their coach and parents wouldn’t find them. As he hesitated, a familiar voice came from outside.

”... You’re here; the kids are in the office.”

”Thank you for looking after them during this time.” It was Tang Wan speaking.

”The kids are very smart and particularly obedient...”
