Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

No one knew if Jiang Sese had a cleanliness fetish, but with a father like Jiang Shiyi, who was especially particular about hygiene from the start, and because she often followed her parents in and out of labs and testing facilities—places that were especially strict about personal hygiene—the little girl paid great attention to this.

If Jiang Xiaowai was all grimy, he would be embarrassed to show up in front of her.

He couldn’t cut loose and play when he was with her, so naturally Jiang Xiaowai didn’t really want to stay in the same place with her.

Since his sister was taking class seriously, as her brother he absolutely couldn’t be outdone by her and could only work even harder.

So one time when Jiang Jinsang came home, he saw his son at home, squatting on Tang Wan’s yoga mat, practicing splits.

”Wanwan... what, what is he doing?”

”He said he’s reviewing what the coach taught today, so I took out the yoga mat for him to use.”

This yoga mat of Tang Wan’s had been bought two or three years ago and had probably only been used four or five times.

”Isn’t he learning Taekwondo? He needs to practice splits too?”

”This is something they have to learn. Go with him to a couple of classes when you’ve got time and you’ll understand.” Tang Wan laughed. ”I just didn’t expect him to be this serious. It’s the first time I’ve seen him come home and still want to review his lessons.”

”Dad!” Jiang Xiaowai looked at Jiang Jinsang. ”Come press down on me a bit.”

Jiang Jinsang walked over and pressed him down a few times, and the little guy howled and yelped nonstop...

”You still want to keep going?” Just hearing him wail made Jiang Jinsang feel pain.

”Keep going.”

Another round of ghostly wails and wolf-like howls.

In the end, when a certain someone went to shower and get into bed, he was limping, and the next day he whined and refused to get up.

As soon as he heard that his sister had already set off for the Taekwondo Hall, he sprang up from the bed.

Jiang Jinsang couldn’t help but laugh and cry, and in private he even teased Jiang Shiyi about it:

”Mutang seems to be butting heads with Sese.”

”Oh?”

”Anyway, I’ve never seen him work this hard. He even does extra practice every day after he gets home. What does Sese do when she gets home?”

They say high IQ doesn’t necessarily get inherited, but Jiang Shiyi’s girl really did have stronger learning ability than kids her age. Jiang Jinsang was also curious how he educated his daughter.

”When she gets home?” Jiang Shiyi frowned. ”She watches cartoons.”

”You don’t tutor her?”

”What is there to tutor in a kid this small? Besides, I don’t have time.”

Jiang Xiaowai was very serious about it. He had always felt that as an older brother he absolutely couldn’t lose to his little sister, so he trained extra hard every day.

Very soon, he also started getting frequent praise from the coach, and a certain someone’s tail practically curled up to the sky.

One time after training, having been praised by the coach, he wanted to show off to her and get his sister to compliment him.

But Jiang Sese said, ”Since you’re so amazing, why don’t I treat you to ice cream, big brother?”

”No need, I’ve got money, I’ll treat you.” Kids these days always had some pocket money on them.

The brother and sister ate ice cream, and Jiang Xiaowai felt all pleased inside. On the way back, he made a point of showing off to Jiang Jinsang, saying that his relationship with his sister was pretty good.

”As long as you two get along, that’s what matters.”

”We’re getting along great now. She even wanted to treat me to ice cream, but I ended up paying.”

”She offered to treat you?”

”Yeah.” Just thinking of it made Jiang Xiaowai pretty happy.

On the other side, it happened to be Jiang Shiyi’s turn to pick his daughter up from the tutoring class today, so as usual he asked her what had happened that day. When he picked his daughter up, she was still eating ice cream, so naturally he asked who had bought it.

”I said I’d treat my brother, but he was the one who paid.”

”You offered?” Jiang Shiyi smiled. ”Looks like you two are getting along pretty well?”

”It’s okay, it’s just...” Jiang Sese pursed her lips. ”He talks so much.”

Jiang Shiyi frowned:

Talks too much?

And then he heard his little girl continue, ”Fourth Uncle said, the best way to make someone stop talking, to seal their mouth, is to stuff something into it!”

Jiang Shiyi’s mouth twitched hard. Just what on earth had Jiang Chengsi been teaching the child?
