”Why don’t you want to go? Your godmother said a few days ago that she missed you.”

”I don’t like playing with Juanjuan.”

Tang Wan was amused: ”Who’s Juanjuan?”

”Just Little Juanmao.” Jiang Xiaowai gestured to his hair.

Tang Wan was speechless...

Speaking of that little fellow from the Qi Family, he’s quite amusing.

Ruan Mengxi was always worried he’d grow up to be a Qi Zeyan 2.0 version, always styling his hair with a slick side part.

Turns out, though.

This kid was born with natural little curls.

And the curls were extremely irregular.

Qi Zeyan once took the child to an event, wanting to style him with a small slick hairstyle like father-like son, very loving.

But underestimated the degree of his hair’s curliness, once the slick hairstyle was done, a tuft of little curls popped up on top.

Later, he tried several times, used many different hair gels, and as Ruan Mengxi put it, luckily, their son had a lot of hair, or he’d be bald sooner or later from all the fuss.

But the effect was minimal, so Qi Zeyan decisively gave up the idea of creating a 2.0 version small slick hairstyle.

Who would have thought a small slick hairstyle would produce little curls?

He did inherit from his father, naturally likable, this bunch of little curls was even more favored, giving him a mixed-race charm that everyone wanted to touch.

Jiang Chengsi, although not fond of the child’s father, really liked those little curls.

He also took care of his daughter, always calling him uncle before and after him, praising his good car, good driving skills, and handsome looks; Jiang Chengsi thought the kid was much more likable compared to his dad.

Qi Zeyan was puzzled; no one in their family had curly hair, and there seemed to be no relatives in the Ruan family with natural curls either.

Even the daughter had straight hair, how did they end up with a naturally curly-haired son?

When he was perplexed, the elder Qi finally spoke up:

”Your grandma had natural curls.”

According to Qi Zeyan’s impression and the photos at home, the late Qi Grandma indeed had curly hair, but he thought grandma deliberately got it permed. Who knew she was born with it.

Even spanning three generations, it was inherited by his son.

...

So when Tang Wan heard her son call him Little Juanmao, she was both crying and laughing, ”You can’t call your brother that, you know?”

How did it end up as Juanjuan?

Jiang Xiaowai pouted, ”I know.”

”You can’t give siblings nicknames; even strangers, kids at kindergarten shouldn’t be given them, it’s really disrespectful.” Tang Wan lectured her son, ”Did you listen to what I said?”

”I did listen, don’t give others nicknames.” Jiang Xiaowai seemed a bit distracted, he usually spent weekends playing with his uncle.

Tang Wan ruffled his hair, ”If you don’t want to go to your godmother’s house, your dad has social engagements today, so just come with me to the studio.”

”Alright!” Upon hearing that he was going to Tang Wan’s studio, Jiang Xiaowai immediately perked up, happily went to his room to pack his small backpack.

Going to Tang Wan’s studio, although there were no kids his age to play with, those uncles, aunts, brothers, and sisters were all very nice to him. With delicious foods, drinks, and all sorts of fun things placed before him, he was naturally happy.
