Qi Zeyan said bluntly, ”Moderate exercise is good for pregnant women, and they get along very well.”

”But you can’t keep running around outside.”

Sometimes when Jiang Chengsi came home, he didn’t even see them, called to inquire, only to be told, ”I’m not coming home for dinner tonight, please tell Mom and Dad, you guys go ahead and eat.”

What the heck? They’ve gone wild, haven’t they?

Qi Zeyan sighed, ”In our house, I currently have no status. As long as Xixi is happy, it’s fine. I can’t control my wife. Maybe you can talk to your wife and ask her to stay home.”

There’s no way Jiang Chengsi could ask Si Qingxiao that, so he had to let the two of them be.

But Ruan Mengxi couldn’t possibly really take Si Qingxiao out of control. They rarely went shopping and took some prenatal classes. The main thing is that women seem to always have endless topics to talk about, so even though Jiang Chengsi and Qi Zeyan find each other annoying, they privately agreed and arranged a so-called baby betrothal.

But during this time, things weren’t entirely bad news for Jiang Chengsi, as Jiang Shiyi had a baby, Jiang Xiaowai’s attention was all on them, and he rarely came to bother him.

With him not coming by often, Jiang Chengsi occasionally missed seeing him doodle or play with mud.

He figured he might be a bit of a masochist.

Thinking of this, he went to the old house to visit and specifically brought some model toys for Jiang Xiaowai. It turned out the little guy wasn’t staying in Lin Luyou’s room that day, but was with Jiang Jinsang instead.

Jiang Xiaowai’s crib was a gift from Huo Qinqi, which needed assembling. Since then, many of Jiang Xiaowai’s toys were made by Jiang Jinsang himself. He was assembling a small truck for his son, installing the tracks.

Jiang Xiaowai sat on a small stool, watching with great interest.

Even when Jiang Chengsi showed off the toy in front of him, he merely smiled and said, ”Thank you, thank you—”

Took the toy, continued to stare at Jiang Jinsang, leaving Jiang Chengsi to the side.

Didn’t this little guy used to love these models?

What? Doesn’t he love them anymore?

”Uncle, Uncle—” Jiang Xiaowai suddenly stood up, pushed him to the side.

Jiang Chengsi caught a glimpse through the corner of his eye, ”Are you inviting me to sit?” There happened to be a chair beside him.

Jiang Xiaowai often ran to the Si Family, although Jiang Chengsi always complained, he was quite good to him. Certain someone was happy inside, feeling his care for his nephew didn’t go to waste.

But just as he sat down, Jiang Xiaowai tugged at his clothes again, indicating he should move further aside.

”Where exactly do you want me to sit?”

Jiang Jinsang raised his eyebrows, glanced at him, ”He didn’t invite you to sit, but thinks you’re blocking my light, hindering things.”

Jiang Chengsi’s current position did block the light, but he didn’t believe his beloved nephew would target him like that. Yet Jiang Xiaowai’s next move proved him wrong.

He really pulled Jiang Chengsi over to a corner that wouldn’t cast a shadow, then pointed to a plastic child’s stool, signaling him:

Have a seat!

Jiang Jinsang chuckled softly, while Jiang Chengsi was so angry his face turned completely black. His temper flared up, he didn’t even collect the toy model he gifted earlier, huffed out the door.

Jiang Xiaowai, puzzled and innocent, looked at his father, ”Un-Uncle—what, what...”

He couldn’t say two complete sentences, struggled to say, ”What happened.”

Though Jiang Xiaowai didn’t understand what had happened, he knew Jiang Chengsi was angry. Under Tang Wan’s guidance, he knew he should go check, but Jiang Jinsang told him:

”Your uncle is just like that, don’t mind him, let him calm down on his own. Some people, the more attention you give them, the more they shine.”

Jiang Xiaowai was half-understanding, but since his father said so, it must be right.

He obediently sat on his small stool, continued to watch his father assembling the model for him.

Jiang Chengsi originally thought, if this little guy had a bit of conscience, he should come and appease him.

Waited and waited, even the small train was assembled and chugging along... Before he left, he finally received a reluctant goodbye from the small child:

”Good-Goodbye!”

Indeed, Jiang Xiaowu wasn’t cute, so how could their child be cute?

Tang Wan also sensed Jiang Chengsi seemed off, specially asked Jiang Jinsang, ”Fourth Brother, what happened? He came over all happy, why did he leave grumbling?”
