Are you sure you’re meeting the parents and not up to something shady?

Si Family in Guandong

Si Yushan had also just changed his clothes. He had planned to meet his daughter’s boyfriend during the day, but today was his wife’s birthday, so many friends were visiting from afar as their family had originally settled in the south and needed to be hosted, only having time after the birthday party.

He felt somewhat apologetic about it.

He even told Si Qingxiao:

”Explain to the young man that our family has a special situation; otherwise, we wouldn’t have scheduled the meeting so late. We could always meet tomorrow instead.”

”He said he’s always available and willing to accommodate our timing.” Si Qingxiao smiled.

”He’s quite understanding and considerate.” You Yunzhi smiled.

In fact, meeting tomorrow would be fine too, but Si Yushan and You Yunzhi were really eager, so they scheduled the meeting in such a rushed and urgent manner.

”Yushan, I think the boyfriend Xiaoxiao found is quite good.” You Yunzhi was naturally in a good mood on her birthday.

”Good or not, we’ll know once we meet.” Si Yushan, raising his hand, fastened his suit buttons, then unbuttoned them and took the jacket off, ”This outfit isn’t quite right.”

”I think it’s fine.”

”Today’s not only your birthday, but later we have to meet Xiaoxiao’s boyfriend, I need to choose something more fitting, something that can immediately instill awe in the young man.”

Instill awe?

Isn’t it just a meal?

Even the birthday star You Yunzhi didn’t spend as much time on makeup and changing clothes as he did.

Si Yushan changed four or five sets of clothes, chose a tie, paired it with a tie clip, and started selecting a watch, spending quite a bit of effort.

The Si Family could only sigh:

The future son-in-law sure is getting top treatment, the gentleman really is giving all the face.
