Chapter 1252: Chapter 729: Never Applauded for Love, Jiang Xiaosi Wants to Overtake on the Curve”What do you take me for, I like her, and it’s not for that kind of thing.”

”So it hasn’t happened yet, then what do you two do all day together? Chat, heart-to-heart talk, spiritual communication?”

Jiang Chengsi knows better than anyone else how much time those two spend together in a week, after all, Ruan Mengxi works under him, and someone would come to pick her up from work rain or shine whenever they had free time.

”What’s it to you, why are you so interested, last time you asked me what Xixi and I do in private, do you have some kind of voyeuristic interest?”

In their relationship, Qi Zeyan did think about certain things, but it had to go naturally, the more anxious they got, the more awkward it turned out for both of them.

Jiang Chengsi chuckled, ”I just didn’t expect you to be so pure-hearted, couldn’t tell.”

”Who wants to be like you, thinking about racing all day long.”

Jiang Chengsi just laughed, picked up the juice the waiter brought, took a few sips, and started scrutinizing the bar’s decor.

Originally, Qi Zeyan invited him out just to have a few drinks and relax, but he brought up this topic, making his heart itch.

In private, with Ruan Mengxi, there were times when things almost got out of hand, but it always ended up in a mess.

It’d either be a work call; or Ruan Daqiang calling to check; there was even a time, almost to the last step, Ruan Mengxi said there were no condoms at home, inconvenient...

When he rushed to the supermarket and bought stuff back, she already took a shower and said she was a bit hungry and started cooking.

Anyway, since they started dating, it seems nothing ever goes smoothly.

Ruan Mengxi tends to gain weight easily, so to wear nice clothes for the engagement, she’s recently been doing yoga for shaping, and Qi Zeyan was just watching from the side.

She has a great figure, wearing form-fitting yoga clothes, doing some moves with a sense of beauty that made his throat itch.

Ruan Mengxi was afraid he’d be bored watching by the side, so she said she wanted him to join.

”I’m a grown man, what am I doing yoga for?” Qi Zeyan naturally refused.

”I saw online that there’s a lot of couples yoga, the kind that couples can do, I want to try it with you.” Ruan Mengxi said, showing him some videos.

Since his wife wanted it, Qi Zeyan had to give it a try.

Yoga requires good flexibility, Qi Zeyan is not old, but his body is quite stiff, just trying some basic moves with Ruan Mengxi, on the way back, his legs already started to ache slightly.

Xiaozhu answered the call, went to Qi Zeyan’s apartment to pick him up.

He saw Qi Zeyan holding his waist, with a pained look, looking exhausted, while Ruan Mengxi seemed full of energy, he kept sizing them up.

What’s going on with them?

Logically, shouldn’t it be Xiaoruan who can’t get out of bed, or is holding the waist, how did the roles reverse?

Could it be that Xiaoruan squeezed their boss dry like this?

In any case, whatever couple yoga, it didn’t end up learning, but Qi Zeyan’s legs hurt for several days.

Thinking about it now, he found it quite amusing, other couples in relationships are always sweet and loving, why is it for him, nothing seems to go right?

...

Jiang Chengsi finished checking out the bar, and sat down next to Qi Zeyan, ”Qiqi, at the pace you and Xiaoruan are going, I think my progress on marriage and having kids might be faster than yours.”

”You know how eager Grandma is, if she knew I had a partner, she’d probably skip the whole engagement and wedding and kick me straight out the door.”

”If I overtake you, it wouldn’t be impossible...”

Jiang Chengsi wasn’t speaking without basis, nobody knows better than Qi Zeyan how eager the Jiang Family’s grandmother is to kick him out.

Hearing this, Qi Zeyan’s face darkened further.

Overtake me, do you believe I’ll crash your car!
