Chapter 1244: Chapter 724: Third Brother’s Orphan Entrustment Scene, Couple Nicknames (Third Update)Jiang Chengsi originally planned what to do for the first date, but his whole plan was disrupted by Jiang Shiyi’s appearance.

Si Qingxiao met Jiang Shiyi for the first time as Jiang Chengsi’s girlfriend and felt a bit nervous, but was a bit dizzy by the gifts he gave her, things didn’t seem right.

Privately, she asked Jiang Chengsi, since it’s not proper to accept so many gifts out of the blue.

”It’s okay, if he gives them to you, just take them.” Jiang Chengsi couldn’t possibly tell her his brother wanted to buy her off and return her.

”But it’s too much...”

”Don’t worry, my brother’s not short of money.”

The original lunch date for two, because of Jiang Shiyi’s joining, turned into a trio.

Jiang Shiyi isn’t clueless; it’s just that it’s his first meeting in such a role, so he treated them to a meal and then left. When searching for a restaurant, he didn’t care about his brother but definitely had to accommodate the young lady’s preferences, hence asking Jiang Chengsi what she likes to eat?

”I’m not sure yet.”

”Your girlfriend, and you don’t know what she likes to eat?” Jiang Shiyi looked at his brother’s demeanor and was even more certain that this was quite the clueless fellow.

How did this girl end up being tricked by him?

”We just started dating, haven’t figured out her preferences, probably similar to mine.”

”Just started dating, how long has it been?”

”Today is the second day.”

Jiang Shiyi furrowed his brows, thinking of the search history on a certain someone’s computer. Just started dating, and this kid’s already thinking about all sorts of nonsense.

Jiang Chengsi noticed his brother’s increasingly odd look, his head starting to ache.

”Brother, don’t overthink.”

Jiang Shiyi said bluntly, ”I’m now afraid I’m not thinking enough.”

”...”

Jiang Shiyi finally chose a hot pot restaurant near the community, Jiang Chengsi knowing his brother’s typical style was worried he might say something inappropriate during the meal, repeatedly reminding him not to say anything careless or scare her.

Jiang Shiyi wouldn’t speak indiscreetly; he was even more worried she might run away, eager to keep her more than Jiang Chengsi was.

This person was a regular customer of Tang Wan’s, even inviting her specifically for the baby’s month celebration, her temperament and character likely weren’t an issue.

He only knew her last name was ”Xiao,” and since Jiang Chengsi also called her Xiaoxiao, it seemed reasonable, so the entire meal passed without asking her full name or age, just urging her to eat more.

”Chengsi can be a bit childish; while you’re with him, you’ll definitely need to be more understanding of him in the future.”

Jiang Shiyi spoke to Si Qingxiao too courteously, so she could only nod in response.

”If there’s anything he doesn’t do well, you need to tell him promptly; he can be quite slow sometimes, hasn’t been in a relationship before, might not know how to take care of someone, but he’s obedient, willing to correct mistakes.”

”He usually won’t spend recklessly aside from the car.”

...

Jiang Chengsi had been worried his brother might expose some of his embarrassing things, but Jiang Shiyi was trying to market him, obviously picking the good points to mention.

This was the first time Jiang Chengsi ever felt what it was like to be praised by his brother.

Every time Jiang Shiyi spoke, Si Qingxiao listened attentively.

But gradually, it started feeling different.

There was a sense of being in a large-scale scene of parental entrustment.

But halfway, Tang Wan made a phone call, perfectly interrupting Jiang Shiyi’s words, ”Sorry, I need to take this call.” The boiling hotpot in the private room truly wasn’t suitable for conversation.

Tang Wan didn’t call her for anything special, just to notify her to check the screen at the studio in the afternoon.

”The prototype is ready, if you’re free, come to the studio this afternoon.” Si Qingxiao ordered this screen when she was pregnant, and it’s been delayed for too long.

”I’m not free this afternoon, tomorrow okay? Are you available?” Si Qingxiao spoke to her very courteously.

After all, if it weren’t for Tang Wan declaring their acquaintance at the Si Family yesterday to ease her awkwardness, there would have been trouble.

”I’m flexible, are you with Fourth Brother now?” Tang Wan tentatively asked.
