Chapter 1220: Chapter 713: Confession—I Think... I Like You [Wishing You Peace on Dragon Boat Festival]Jiang Chengsi secretly made a decision in his heart.

”The oil in the pot is hot,” she reminded with a smile.

Jiang Chengsi nodded.

Three dishes and one soup were enough for two people, and since they just had dinner, Jiang Chengsi didn’t drive when sending her home; they walked, encountering quite a few people selling flowers on the way.

Located along the street, every hotel was offering Valentine’s Day package deals. As they passed by the entrance of one, a shop assistant happened to come out and asked if they wanted to go inside, claiming their hotel had a good atmosphere.

”No need.” For the first time, Jiang Chengsi felt his ears turn somewhat red.

At the entrance to the neighborhood, she turned to Jiang Chengsi and said, ”No need to walk me any further, I’m almost there.”

Jiang Chengsi nodded in agreement, but he didn’t say he would leave, so they stood outside the neighborhood under the streetlight. At this moment, tiny flakes of snow suddenly started to fall from the sky.

She looked up, and a snowflake fell on her forehead and nose, instantly melting into a small droplet of water.

”It’s really snowing.”

She raised her hand, just about to wipe her forehead, but Jiang Chengsi moved faster, gently brushing her forehead with his hand.

The icy snow water was wiped away, his fingertips lingered intentionally, like a presence that wouldn’t fade, his fingers brushed lightly against her nose, and then he raised his hand to shield her from the falling snow.

”You should head back; the snow will get heavier soon.” She felt today Jiang Chengsi was particularly different.

”I’ll walk you to the building.”

”No, our house is nearby.” She coughed softly, not daring to let him walk her to the doorstep.

Actually, she never intended to hide anything from Jiang Chengsi initially, she never thought she would get so involved with Tang Wan. But inexplicably, things turned out this way, with You Shenming pushing Elder Shen down, running away out of guilt, framing Tang Wan. She was even more unsure how to explain her identity...

It ended up like this.

”That outfit you gave me earlier, did you make it yourself?” Jiang Chengsi looked at her earnestly.

His hand placed above her face, shielding her from the snow, also blocked out the streetlight’s slight shadow, half of her face was dim, yet her nose was illuminated brightly by the light...

With lips gently pressed together, she nodded slightly.

”Why didn’t you tell me?”

”It’s enough that you like the clothes, anything else...”

Her words were suddenly interrupted when Jiang Chengsi’s hand, hanging above her face, swiftly moved back, holding the back of her head. She was caught off guard, yet to react, as her body was drawn forward...

Jiang Chengsi quickly leaned in, towards her lips.

He pecked them.

Gently, warmly.

Very lightly.

His hand held the back of her head, their breath intertwined at astonishing proximity, Jiang Chengsi’s breath was strong, his forehead against hers, ”Do you like me?”

Her mind exploded instantly!

The warmth on her lips persisted, like a lingering sensation, tingling right to her heart.

She pressed her lips tightly, her face flushed a noticeable red, radiating with vibrant charm.

”I don’t really know what it feels like to like someone, but many of my firsts have been with you, so I think...”

”I do like you.”

”After New Year’s Eve, it’s been a while since we’ve met, have you missed me?”

The cold wind of the night, mixed with snowflakes, brushed against her face and neck, slightly chilling...

Yet she felt hot all over.

His voice was very low, slightly hoarse, he stared at her intently, unwilling to miss even the slightest change in her expression.

”I think, you might have feelings for me too, right?” Jiang Chengsi, always acting on his thoughts, especially today when she dashed to him after the competition, felt his heart scatter.

”All these years, besides you, I’ve never had this feeling for anyone else.”

”I’m not trying to burden you, I just want to tell you...”

”I like you.”

Her heart racing, she held the roses tightly, completely unprepared for Jiang Chengsi to suddenly express such words.

Starting today when he bought the flowers, she felt something was off, but couldn’t ask.

Just as she was overwhelmed, wanting to say something, he suddenly asked, ”We’ve known each other for so long, it seems you haven’t told me your name yet? Will I still have to call you ’Miss Xiao’ in the future?”

”I...”
