Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

After a few laps, Geng Dong’s car came to a steady stop in front of Jiang Chengsi. He opened the car door and looked at him.

”Fourth Master Jiang, do I qualify now?”

Dominating the leaderboard at another club is practically an act of provocation and declaration of war.

If a guest breaks Jiang Chengsi’s record, it’s not a big deal. But if people from another club occupy the record leaderboard, that’s a completely different matter.

”Fourth Master, if you admit defeat, I’ll leave immediately and won’t linger here...” His gaze moved past the car Jiang Chengsi was leaning on, scrutinizing the people inside, ”Valentine’s Day, bringing a young girl to race, huh.”

”She’s quite pretty. They say Fourth Master Jiang is untainted by the muck around him, turns out you’re into this too. The girl is quite something.”

”No wonder you don’t want to race me, you’re afraid of losing face in front of a woman, hahaha—”

...

The man laughed wildly, and the people who came with him joined in the uproar.

”What the hell are you talking about!” Jiang Chengsi hadn’t reacted yet, but other club staff couldn’t stand it. ”This isn’t your turf, if you want to act wild, you’ve picked the wrong place.”

”An admittance of cowardice is an admittance of cowardice, no need for excuses.” People on Geng Dong’s side started clamoring too.

”Who are you calling a coward!”

”Whoever doesn’t dare to speak up is who I’m talking about, right, Fourth Master Jiang.”

”Want a race? I’ll race you!” The club also has other racing enthusiasts.

Geng Dong chuckled disdainfully, ”Do you qualify? Who are you!”

”What did you say—”

The exchange of insults and provocations was about to escalate into a violent confrontation, with the atmosphere on the race track becoming instantly tense.

It seemed like a tiny spark could instantly ignite a wild blaze.

And ”Miss Xiao” sat in the car, watching the tension rise, but she was locked in and couldn’t intervene, only feeling anxious.

Especially with Geng Dong standing right in front of the windshield, staring at her, making her extremely uncomfortable.

Just then, Jiang Chengsi suddenly appeared in front of him, without a word, he raised his hand and pushed Geng Dong back.

Seeing Jiang Chengsi make a move, the atmosphere became tense again.

”Jiang Chengsi, you...”

”What are you looking at?” Jiang Chengsi casually sat on the hood, ”Trying to provoke me into racing by involving a woman, doesn’t that make you dirty as a man.”

”You...”

”Let’s hear it, how do you want to do this?” Jiang Chengsi arched an eyebrow at him.

Geng Dong brought a group of people today, clearly wanting the people from his club to give it a shot as well. It was rare for Jiang Chengsi to agree, so playing just one round was a pity...

”Best of three, each side picks their racer.”

”Fourth Master?” Manager Luo frowned, their club racers weren’t around, only coaches, and being a coach doesn’t mean they’re good at racing.

In a best-of-three, besides Jiang Chengsi, there’s no one else to choose from, while the other side is all professional racers.

To everyone’s surprise, Jiang Chengsi readily nodded in agreement.

”Alright.”

Geng Dong’s group had already started getting excited, discussing who should go up, even planning their lineup order.

...

”Fourth Master.” Assistant Luo frowned, ”We don’t have anyone on our side.”

”Who says we don’t.” Jiang Chengsi turned around, pointing inside the car.

”Miss Xiao,” sitting in the driver’s seat, could hear the conversation outside, but she never expected that Jiang Chengsi would suddenly ask her to race!

He’s gone mad—

And at that moment, everyone thought he had gone mad.

Jiang Chengsi unlocked the car, tapped on the window, and as the window slowly lowered, she frowned, ”Fourth Master, are you asking me to race?”

He placed his hands on the car, leaning slightly, bringing himself close to the window, instantly closing the distance between them.

With his breath on her face, he chuckled softly and said:

”Will you let me lose?”

If she didn’t let him lose, then her identity would surely be exposed...
