Chapter 1099: Chapter 648: The Striking Girl by Fourth Master’s Side, Trapped Again in a Dilemma (Part 3)Jiang Chengsi originally had it all planned out: she would come to look at cars, he’d offer her a bit of advice, then they’d probably have coffee or tea, hand over the invitation and leave.

But because of that rose, he completely forgot what he was supposed to be doing.

Inwardly, he cursed the guy earlier—this bastard, why give him this?

”Let’s head inside, it’s quite cold out here,” Jiang Chengsi cleared his throat, noticing her nod, then gallantly helped push through the mall’s glass doors.

Just the two of them walking side by side, him as a grown man holding a rose, it was rather absurd.

”This flower... was given by someone else.”

”Mm.” The girl beside him nodded seriously, having an idea why Jiang Chengsi would suddenly have a rose.

”Um...” Jiang Chengsi cleared his throat and handed the flower over, ”Here, it’s for you.”

Compared to his awkwardness, Miss ”Xiao” received it with a smile, graciously accepting, ”Thank you.”

”Weren’t you here to look at cars?” Jiang Chengsi tried to change the subject, seemingly forgetting the main purpose of his visit.

The car exhibition wasn’t at Wanbaohui, but at a neighboring Exhibition Center.

Outside, there were already people test driving cars. Since it wasn’t a holiday, there weren’t many people looking at cars. She had a goal in mind, didn’t look around randomly, and went straight to a brand’s parking space.

Staff immediately came forward with introductions. Being distant earlier, they didn’t see clearly or realize, seeing the girl holding a flower, assuming they were just an ordinary couple choosing a car.

Until they spotted Jiang Chengsi and were momentarily stunned.

He’s well-known in the car scene, the staff didn’t dare to handle it themselves, they brought them water and directly called the manager.

”Fourth Master, why didn’t you say you were coming by?”

”Old Liao? Why is it you?” From Jiang Chengsi’s tone, he seemed quite familiar.

”And this...?” Manager Liao glanced at him, then at the person beside him, and the rose, smiling meaningfully.

”My friend wants to buy a car.”

”Feel free to look around. If anything catches your eye, you can test drive it. Being a friend of Fourth Master, I can offer you an employee discount.” Since Jiang Chengsi claimed she was a friend, Manager Liao dared not make fun and personally started introducing the cars.

Manager Liao was a bit speechless, glancing sideways at the person behind him.

”My gosh, Fourth Master, why don’t you go have some tea and snacks nearby? Why are you wandering around behind me?” It made him quite pressured.

Jiang Chengsi chuckled lightly, ”I’m afraid you’d trick her.”

”...” Manager Liao was speechless.

Throughout the car selection, Jiang Chengsi stayed the whole time, after Manager Liao explained the car’s performances, he’d always add something about what’s wrong elsewhere, his attitude showing he didn’t want people to conduct business.

There’s no perfect car in this world. Finally, she still picked one, intending to test drive it.

”Fourth Master, please hop in first.” Manager Liao was about to get in but didn’t dare sit in the co-pilot seat, so he left the spot for Jiang Chengsi.

The test drive is meant to let people experience the car’s handling, with staff accompanying throughout to guide them during driving, mainly to prevent improper operations that could damage the car.

After Manager Liao got in, he realized he was quite redundant.

The ”Miss Xiao” referred by Jiang Chengsi didn’t need his guidance at all. As soon as she got in, her movements were so practiced that anyone who’s spent a long time in automotive services could see at a glance she wasn’t a newbie...

Her driving skills might be quite good.

Jiang Chengsi was also observing her, suddenly recalling seeing her park way back in Pingjiang, maneuvering seamlessly into a very tight space there.

People easily feel a connection to those sharing similar interests, moreover in Jiang Chengsi’s circle, besides himself, there was no one into cars.

The test drive went smoothly, but Jiang Chengsi kept staring at her, making her somewhat nervous. The car’s interior space was already small, the new car’s leather scent slightly pungent, combined with the warmth of the heater making it feel stifling.

”I’ll open the window a bit.” She whispered.
