Chapter 1048: Chapter 620: Another Love Rival? A Rocky Road of Romance (Part 2)Ruan Mengxi felt a jolt in her heart, as if her entire body had gone soft.

It was not until her phone vibrated that she pushed Qi Zeyan away and turned to go back inside.

Qi Zeyan took another shower, then lay down on the bed and started texting Jiang Jinsang.

Since he was sure he wanted to pursue her, he wasn’t afraid of people finding out.

When it comes to dating, rather than consulting Jiang Chengsi, who’s forever single, it’s better to ask Jiang Jinsang.

After all, back when he was pursuing Tang Wan, his moves were unheard of, and he’d seen all kinds of ways to woo women.

”You want me to teach you how to pursue a wife?” Jiang Jinsang laughed.

”Just give me a few tips.”

”What kind of tips?”

”Like how did you woo your sister-in-law back in the day?”

”All of mine came from the heart, it was inspired and spontaneous, no real technique to it.”

”...” Qi Zeyan took a deep breath, that was a blatant lie.

”Actually, there’s no fixed mode for dating, every couple has their way of getting along; there’s no set technique, I mean, sending flowers and gifts might make them happy, but the way to get along is definitely different.”

”Don’t always think about learning how others do it. If you learn, then that’s not you, and it might not work for you.”

”Just be yourself, take action, and I believe she’ll feel it. Sometimes without the atmosphere, forcing things is not only awkward, but it also might seem greasy.”

Jiang Jinsang really poured his heart out to him.

Qi Zeyan thought he made a lot of sense and decided to follow his heart.

...

So the next day, when Ruan Mengxi got up, breakfast was already set on the table, along with a note.

[I went to the office, I’ll come by at noon and cook.]

Ruan Mengxi finished breakfast, then went to the club, busy to the point of dizziness, and answered her cousin’s call absentmindedly.

”Cousin, the school gave us two days off, I’m coming over to stay for two days.”

”Do you need me to pick you up?”

”No need, I have a key too, I’ll take the bus myself.”

”Okay, are you coming back for lunch? Otherwise, I’ll just order takeout.”

”No need, someone’s cooking.”

...

Ruan Mengxi was so busy she forgot to inform Qi Zeyan that her cousin would come today.

**

When Qi Zeyan brought groceries in and opened the door, he saw a young man who had just showered and was wearing his slippers, occupying his guest room, and asking him, ”Who are you?”

”Who are you?” Qi Zeyan looked at his physique, with a man’s sixth sense, he immediately recognized him as that puppy Ruan Mengxi had once posted pictures of on social media...

Their eyes met, and the atmosphere was very awkward.

Qi Zeyan kept sizing him up, he looked young, maybe only seventeen or eighteen, with a buzz cut, dressed a little thinly, but it was obvious he had a good figure, like someone who works out regularly.

And he kept glaring at him!

Ha—

What the heck, after the operatic Yun Boss, here comes a fierce little puppy.

I just want a sweet, romantic relationship, why is it so difficult!

”Come in,” the young man said, acting like he was the homeowner.

The cousin thought to himself, cousin said someone is coming to cook, he knew his cousin wasn’t skilled in cooking, so he wondered if she hired a cooking nanny? Moreover, he brought groceries in hand...

So when he spoke, it nearly made Qi Zeyan choke on his own breath.

”Are you the hourly help? The one who’s here to cook?” The little cousin felt embarrassed himself after saying it.

”What?”

”Aren’t cooks usually women? It’s rare to see a man, and now even being an hourly help, you have to dress so well?”

What on earth? Did this brat take me for what, a cooking nanny?

I’m wearing a suit, is there anything about me that looks like a hired hourly help? Have you ever seen such a handsome hourly help?
