He realized, ever since Ruan Mengxi confronted him, she seemed to have completely let herself go, always dressing up beautifully every day.

While he, as the company boss, was so busy he was going bald, she actually went out drinking.

Qi Zeyan had once asked her, ”Is this how you do your job as an assistant? Not even coming to ask if there’s anything you need to do for me?”

Ruan Mengxi simply smiled at him, ”If you have something, you can tell my direct supervisor, he will arrange for me to do it.”

Qi Zeyan was dumbfounded: His grandpa said that?

Transferring her from her original position without a suitable reason, might as well keep some distance between the two.

With the ”protection” of the old Qi, Qi Zeyan could only watch her move back and forth in front of him.

She was even busier than him, the boss.

Ruan Mengxi always lived carefreely and optimistically, if she claimed to have completely forgotten Qi Zeyan, it would be a lie. Occupying her time was also to avoid being idle, preventing herself from overthinking.
