“Well—if it isn’t that Huo guy…” The man who had been spouting nonsense in the restroom squinted at Huo Ran, seemingly recognizing him, “Kid, did you hear everything?”

“Let’s go, don’t just stand there, back to the box, keep drinking.” The man gestured grandly, staggering toward the other side.

His lackeys were left in a predicament. Not wanting to offend Huo Ran, they attempted to engage with a polite nod.

“Chasing after men all day, and Jiang Chengsi doesn’t mind, truly absurd.” Huo Ran’s lack of retaliation seemed to embolden the man, “Hey, what kind of coward does the Huo Family raise, so afraid he wouldn’t lay a finger on me!”

Huo Ran stared at his back. Truth be told, he didn’t know this person. Judging by his arrogance and boldness in discussing the Jiang and Huo Families, he likely had some strong backing.

But in the heat of the moment, Huo Ran couldn’t care less.

Taking a deep breath, he charged forward, delivering a vicious kick to the man’s backside!

Though Huo Ran’s skills weren’t as refined as Huo Qinqi’s, he had seen enough to know how to deliver a brutal kick.

The kick was swift and precise.

The man, caught off guard, fell heavily, face-first, onto the ground.

The thud was shocking, and on the tiled floor, just hearing it made hearts tremble.

“You came here asking for it, I’d be doing a disservice to myself if I didn’t give you a kick,” said Huo Ran, finally releasing his pent-up fury.

…

Meanwhile, in the box, Shen Shuci had noticed Huo Ran had been gone for too long.

At that moment, Huo Qinqi was conversing with Jiang Yanting. Given that Huo Ran, who had been following Jiang Chengsi and hanging around the club, was old enough, unlikely to cause any trouble, he wasn’t particularly concerned.

Grown kids couldn’t always be kept on a tight leash after all.

“Auntie, what are you doing?” Tang Wan, sitting near Shen Shuci, asked instinctively as she got up.

“Just going to the bathroom,” Shen Shuci said, planning to find Huo Ran while at it, thinking it was unnecessary to inform Tang Wan as nothing major seemed likely.

Tang Wan nodded, continuing her chat with Ruan Mengxi without giving it much thought.

The bathroom was in a remote area, and the incident went unnoticed by the club’s staff.
