Pampered by Short-Lived Bigshot

“Nothing, nothing.” Jiang Chengsi covered his palm, naturally unable to admit he’d been pecked by a bird.

Didn’t Jiangjiang say this bird was called some sort of silly name, like Daidai? It was supposed to be slow-witted, yet it bit?

Jiang Shiyi put down the teasing stick, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” No skin was broken and no blood was drawn, but to be pecked fiercely by a sharp beak still hurt considerably.

“See, even birds don’t like you.”

“…”

When Jiang Chengsi entered the house, he was still inspecting his palm and asked absently, “Brother, the business card grandma gave you last time, did you take it?”

Jiang Shiyi glanced at him nonchalantly.

“That girl from the lab, after grandma gave it to me, I think I stuffed it to you, didn’t I?”

“Recently, grandma asked about it again, saying even if you don’t consider her for dating, you should at least thank her. But now that card is gone, did I give it to you?”

At that time, when he heard the old lady wanted to set him up with that cool girl, he was somewhat dumbfounded. Why did the old lady love to play matchmaker so much? He wanted to extricate himself from the situation completely and couldn’t remember where he had thrown the business card.
