Upon arriving at the hospital, Jiang Jinsang went to register while Shen Shuci accompanied Tang Wan to Zhou Zhongqing’s office.

But he had gone to see patients, and the office was empty.

A few minutes later, a nurse pushed the door open and said:

”Dr. Zhou, the patient in bed 2203 is still non-compliant with the examination, and they’ve run off again, can’t be found...”

The nurse was in a rush and was evidently not expecting anyone else in the office, looking at Tang Wan she offered an embarrassed smile, ”Are you here to see Dr. Zhou?”

”Sister Liu.” Tang Wan knew the nurse and had dined with her as family, ”Dad isn’t here.”

But as soon as Tang Wan’s words fell, Zhou Zhongqing returned, flipping through paperwork in his hands, and upon hearing about the patient in bed 2203 running off, his face turned ashen.

”Have you called their family?”

”We’ve informed them, they said they’ll be here right away.”

”He won’t even let us take his blood or urine, or even take off his clothes for an external examination. What’s he doing in the hospital? He seems able to run and jump about, so he doesn’t need to be taking up a bed. When his family arrives, have them complete the discharge procedures, I want him out immediately!”
