Chapter 621: 395 Intercepting Someone at the Airport, Will You Not Die This Time? (2 more updates)_3

Xi Fangli!

In the Jade Carving and Cyan Feather fields, he could almost be described as an absolute benchmark, with some of his jade-incorporated Cyan Feather ornaments once given as National Gifts to foreign guests. His achievements were quite remarkable, and he himself was exceedingly low-profile.

Well-known within the industry, the average person might have seen his work but not recognized him.

As he and a few of his assistants just came out, they heard someone scream, “He’s out! He’s out!”

Then a crowd rushed over, with ordinary travelers all around them, startled and confused, quickly stepping aside. Even with enough security arranged by the airport, they were no match for these seemingly possessed fans.

If it weren’t for his assistants holding them back, the most fanatic fan at the front might have already crashed into Xi Fangli.

“Master Xi—”

“What’s the matter, young lady?” Xi Fangli said with a smile, squinting his eyes and even reaching out to help her, leaving the crazed fan close to tears.

“Somebody is infringing and plagiarizing your works, and they’ve made a profit. This is all the evidence, please take a look!” The girl, about fifteen or sixteen, with a student’s appearance, stuffed all the printed “evidence” to him in a rush.

“I’ll take a look at it later,” Xi Fangli said as he accepted the materials with a smile.

“Please look at it now, it’s really serious, and this person is participating in the event with you tomorrow. We’ve been resisting her online, constantly being restricted. She has significant influence and power in China…”

“Now that we live in a society governed by law, how can this happen?” Xi Fangli said, still smiling.

“She’s originally from Pingjiang, and even opened a studio…”

She went on and on about Tang Wan’s misdeeds.

There was no shortage of exaggerations. Whatever sounded bad, she said.

Having waited so long to see him in person, these fans were incredibly excited.

“Let’s go over there and talk. This is an exit and we shouldn’t disturb others.” Xi Fangli had the demeanor of a kindly grandfather.

He held the grace of a master but not an ounce of pretentiousness.

The fanatic fan nodded her head. The reporters thought there would be a conflict, and even the airport security braced for it, only to see a dozen fans surrounding Xi Fangli, chirping and sharing their grievances.

“Don’t rush. Speak one at a time,” Xi Fangli said, looking down at the materials.

“We’ve collected all the evidence, and we’ve been sending you emails, but we haven’t received a reply. We really had no choice but to do this.”

“That Tang Wan is really outrageous, flaunting your work everywhere, a complete fraud.”

“We really don’t want to see your work defiled by her. It’s an insult to you.”

“She’s so arrogant because she has money and power…”

…

After Xi Fangli finished going through all the materials, his expression turned serious. He signaled to his assistant, “Do we have paper and a pen? Take down their personal information.”

They were all young girls, a bit flustered at the mention of registering their information!

Naturally, they didn’t want to reveal their personal details.

Xi Fangli smiled. “Don’t be afraid. The information you’ve provided is very important. After a case is filed, we’ll definitely need to contact you. Leave a way to reach you; otherwise, my lawyer won’t be able to find you. Some details you definitely know better.”

“So please take the time to register your information.”

Originally thinking Xi Fangli was kind-hearted, hearing talks of filing a case and such spurred them even more.

They felt their days of effort had finally been recognized.

“Be sure to leave accurate information. If you have an ID card, it’s best to register that as well,” Xi Fangli closed the materials in hand.

Everyone assumed an airport interception would inevitably lead to conflict, but they hadn’t expected Xi Fangli to be so nice and calmly resolve the matter.

When he departed from the airport, the group of fans escorted him to his car, endearingly calling him “Grandpa Xi,” saying he was a good person, wishing him health and a long life, bowing and thanking profusely.

“Kids, go home and rest early. Don’t worry your parents,” Xi Fangli’s smile remained as gentle as ever.

“Thank you, grandfather.”
