Chapter 465: 298 Wuye’s popularity is too poor, went to get the certificate after waking up (15 updates)

According to Zhou Zhongqing’s assumption, Jinsang should have woken up within two days at the latest.

But even after three days, Jinsang still showed no signs of regaining consciousness.

Because his vital signs were very stable, some of the equipment set up on him had been removed, but with more than ten bottles of IV fluids per day, honestly…

In Qi Zeyan’s joking words, it was like injecting water into pork!

“Dr. Zhou, today he’s still…”

When Zhou Zhongqing made his rounds, the nurse responsible for his room also had a furrowed brow.

“No signs of awakening?” He held the chart with today’s vital signs data, which also showed nothing out of the ordinary.

Jinsang’s condition was rare, perhaps the only case globally, with no basis to refer to, relying completely on experience, so it was hard to say exactly when he would wake up.

“No.”

Tang Wan and others stood to the side, feeling urgent on the inside, but it wasn’t appropriate to press Zhou Zhongqing for information, as he was certainly more anxious.

Today, that gentleman from the Huo Family also arrived, standing to one side, quiet and taciturn.

Zhou Zhongqing took out a penlight from his pocket, lifted Jinsang’s eyelid with his hand, and observed his pupil and iris. After completing all the checks, there were no abnormalities.

“If he doesn’t wake up tonight, we’ll have to transfer him to ICU and he might need another surgery.”

Everyone: “…”

Perhaps resisting surgery unconsciously, Jinsang’s fingers suddenly twitched.

“Uncle, his finger moved.” Jiangjiang was the first to notice, though when everyone else looked, it seemed no different from usual.

“Are you sure you didn’t see it wrong?” Tang Wan asked him.

“No, it really moved.”

Zhou Zhongqing put away his penlight and glanced at the person on the hospital bed.

“Although his surgery went smoothly, there being no precedent, I’m not sure exactly what to expect. Right now, all his signs are normal, but he still hasn’t woken up. The best course of action would be to take him back in, remove the stitches, and check again…”

“The wound from the suturing is still fairly new and hasn’t healed properly, which makes it easier to operate again.”

“If the wound had already healed, cutting and stitching it up again, I’m afraid there wouldn’t be any part of him left undamaged.”

…

Perhaps provoked by someone’s words, Jinsang’s fingers truly moved several times.

Everyone: (⊙o⊙)…

Is this even possible?

The surgery went well, but the patient hadn’t woken up, which worried Zhou Zhongqing. Although the surgery wasn’t live-streamed, it was fully recorded. He had watched the recordings repeatedly over the past few days and saw no issues.

If he continued not to wake up, could he become a vegetable?

Seeing his fingers move, Zhou Zhongqing smiled slightly: “It seems he still has a reaction to external stimuli, so there shouldn’t be any problems. You can try stimulating him more; you never know, a little more stimulation and he might wake up.”

Everyone: Is this something a doctor should say?

Talking about cutting and slicing, does he not feel any guilt when saying such things?

“Talk to him more, he can hear you… Waking up is just a matter of time, so don’t worry too much.”

Hearing these words, everyone felt a bit more reassured.

Everyone bustled about, and soon in the hospital room, besides the person who hadn’t awakened, there was only Tang Wan and a certain quiet man in the corner…

“Mr. Huo, it’s almost noon. Will you stay for lunch?” Tang Wan found him difficult to deal with, and despite seeing him many times, she still spoke with utmost politeness.

“No, thanks.” He said as he got up to leave, his gaze swept over Jinsang but then fixed on Tang Wan, “Didn’t you like the bodyguards I sent last time?”

“Huh?” Tang Wan was surprised he brought it up again, “I’ve been a bit busy recently, so…”

“He hasn’t woken up; what are you busy with?”

Although that was a harsh reality…

“You don’t like the ones with a strong build? Then I’ll send over some people with a build not much different from Xiaowu’s, skilled in their movements.”

“Mr. Huo, Mr. Huo…” Tang Wan wanted to refuse, but he had already taken long strides out of the room.

This guy must be the devil; she really didn’t need this.

Meanwhile, the person lying on the hospital bed, Jinsang, his eyelashes furiously fluttered twice…

When Jinsang regained consciousness, it was the following night…
