Chapter 424: 274 Second Grandpa asks for a kiss? Fifth Grandpa teaches the little niece a bad lesson (2 updates)Although the invitation was just for the Jiang Family, they arrived separately.

Hexi, located in the Beijing suburbs next to a mountain and by the water, is perfect for a vacation. Besides a few villas, there are no other buildings, making it a great spot for speeding. Jiang Chengsi rode his motorbike, racing around the Huo Family’s place...

One round wasn’t enough; he went for several more.

Someone from the Huo Family, busy assembling a firearm with practiced ease, heard the roaring engines from outside and frowned slightly. He paid it no heed at first, but the noise persisted...

”Is someone racing nearby?”

”It’s the fourth young master,” coughed a member of the Huo Family.

”Just him alone?”

”Yes, he’s already made four rounds.”

Usually, few people came to this area, and even if someone wanted to race, they dared not do it here near the Huo Family.

Jiang Chengsi still remembered the incident when someone had taken advantage of his drunken state to ”beat him up”. Knowing that he preferred quiet, he had come specifically to provoke him. However, after several rounds with no appearance from that person, he felt it was pointless and drove straight to Qihu Mountain Villa.

When he parked his car and took out his phone, he saw a message from that person:

[Noise disturbance. If it happens again, I’ll call the police.]

Jiang Chengsi was so angry he gritted his teeth. Next time, I’ll bring a tractor and park it at your doorstep. That’s not racing, after all.

”Uncle Xiaosi!” Taotao recognized the sound of the engine and knew who had arrived, running out to greet him.

”Is it just you?” Shen Zhixian also came out.

”They’ll be over soon.”

...

Although Tang Wan hadn’t arrived in Beijing yet, her Beijing studio was already being set up. Jiang Jinsang would help her check on it whenever he had time, also arriving separately and bringing two bottles of red wine.

The one bringing Jiangjiang would definitely be Jiang Yanting. Shen Zhixian knew this and prepared extra food as well.

”Daddy, aren’t we just going to eat? Why are you packing luggage?” Jiangjiang was ready and just waiting for Jiang Yanting to leave.

”Don’t you want to stay with her?”

”Of course,” Jiangjiang pouted, ”but if I’m staying over, why are you packing your clothes too?”

When Jiang Yanting and his son arrived, the doorbell rang, and Shen Zhixian hurried to open the door.

Unsurprisingly, there stood a tall and a small figure at the door, accompanied by two pieces of luggage, one large and one small. ”You guys...”

Bringing gifts to a dinner wasn’t surprising, but dragging along luggage was for what?

”Hello Auntie, this is for you,” said Jiangjiang, holding out a bouquet of lilies.

”Thank you,” Shen Zhixian replied, taking the flowers and giving him a hug.

”I picked these flowers,” Jiangjiang boasted, dressed in all black with a slicked-back hairstyle, looking cool but somewhat awkwardly proud.

One could easily tell who he took after looking at his hairstyle.

”I really like them,” Shen Zhixian kissed his cheek, causing Jiangjiang’s ears to quickly flush red.

”Brother—” Taotao saw Jiangjiang, greeted Jiang Yanting quickly, and then pulled Jiangjiang inside. ”Do you see how big our house is? We can even play hide and seek. I’ll show you around.”

Once Jiangjiang had gone inside, only Jiang Yanting and Shen Zhixian were left standing at the threshold.

Holding the flowers, Shen Zhixian was about to step back to let him in when she heard Jiang Yanting murmur, ”I bought the flowers.”

”Thank you,” she said, looking back at him, their eyes locked.

So it was you who bought them, what more do you want?

Jiang Yanting pursed his lips, his gaze flickering momentarily to Jiangjiang who had followed Taotao upstairs, ”Just a thank you?”

Shen Zhixian quickly understood what he was hinting at.

Even though the children were not there, Jiang Jinsang and Jiang Chengsi were in the living room, his younger brothers, and here he was, brazenly...

Asking for a kiss?

Before Shen Zhixian could react, Jiang Yanting suddenly stepped forward, crossing the threshold. The cool air lingered outside, but his proximity radiated heat, scorching her face with his intense gaze...

Like fire igniting.

Her heart skipped a beat. There were still people inside, was he mad?

Instinctively retreating, but he leaned in, pecking her cheek. It was meant to be a light touch, but because she tried to dodge, Jiang Yanting used a bit of force...
