Chapter 259: 183 Fifth Master sets a trap for Jiang Chengsi, wanting the son but not the father (2 updates)_2

Jiang Chengsi chuckled, “Later, give me the information, let me handle it, there needs to be a target.”

“Okay.”

…

Watching Jiang Jinsang hang up the phone, Tang Wan couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She thought that based on Jiang Chengsi’s character, he probably wouldn’t want to deal with these troublesome matters, yet here he was, unexpectedly being roped in.

“Actually, even without any scheming, he would definitely help out with this matter,” Jiang Jinsang explained. “If it were someone else’s problem, he might not be as concerned, but him…”

“He cares deeply about Jiangjiang.”

“As long as it’s Jiangjiang’s matter, he almost never refuses, and especially when it comes to uncovering the mastermind behind past events, he would put a lot of effort into it.”

Tang Wan nodded. Actually, the Jiang Family had many “eccentrics,” regardless of their personalities, but they all cared deeply for Jiangjiang, which was fundamentally why he hadn’t gone astray.

“Let’s have some porridge.” Tang Wan handed him the clear porridge.

“My hand…” Jiang Jinsang’s one hand was receiving an IV, making it difficult to move, “Wanwan…”

“Hmm?”

“Could you feed me?” His voice was naturally gentle and clear, and now with his body weak, his words came out even softer, melting Tang Wan’s heart.

“…”

“I’m a bit hungry.”

Jiang Cuo and Jiang Jiu, standing to the side, were already speechless. Their Fifth Master, was he acting spoiled?

This was outrageously sappy!

Unbelievable!

When Zhou Zhongqing came to make his rounds, he saw Tang Wan feeding him porridge, and couldn’t help but frown. Treating him like a child? Still needing to be fed?

The air was filled with the sickening sweetness of romance!

“Uncle Zhou.” Tang Wan, now also addressing him as Jiang Jinsang did, quickly put down the porridge and got up to greet him.

He gave Jiang Jinsang a brief check-up. “Once this IV finishes, wait for half an hour and see if there are any other uncomfortable symptoms. If there’s nothing wrong, you can be discharged.”

“Thank you, Uncle Zhou,” Tang Wan smiled.

“Eating, eh? Want me to feed you?” Zhou Zhongqing teased, looking at Jiang Jinsang.

That reminded Jiang Jinsang of some not-so-pleasant memories!

Zhou Zhongqing had once forced him to take medicine, even inviting another traditional Chinese medicine practitioner to prescribe a regimen that was bitter; naturally, Jiang Jinsang didn’t want to drink it, and Zhou Zhongqing outright asked:

“Not drinking? Should I pour it in?”

Jiang Jinsang didn’t respond, his stance clear—he would rather die than drink.

“Poring medicine, if it spills, it’s no good. How about I mouth-feed you?” Zhou Zhongqing chuckled lightly, “As doctors, we do all sorts of things like artificial respiration; feeding medicine is no big deal, no formalities between doctor and patient.”

Jiang Jinsang hadn’t expected him to say something like that. He was irate but still took the medicine and drank.

At that moment, he thought this doctor was truly ridiculous, daring to say such shameless things.

He even secretly thought of him as:

A hooligan doctor.

“Just take the medicine obediently, wouldn’t that save you all this trouble?” Zhou Zhongqing chuckled lightly.

His expression was clearly saying, “You’re just an immature brat, trying to outmatch me?”

Zhou Zhongqing was just teasing after all; he wouldn’t actually stay in the room to feed him. After cautioning Tang Wan briefly, he then left.

“Uncle Zhou is really looking out for you. In the short time we’ve been here, he has already come by several times,” Tang Wan smiled.

Jiang Jinsang snorted softly, “You don’t know what he has done to me in the past.”

“That was also for your good.”

“…”

Speechless.

At the apartment,

Shen Zhixian wished she could give Jiangjiang all the best things. For the three of them eating together, she actually cooked seven dishes and one soup, and it was nearly one o’clock in the afternoon before they sat down to eat.

“Jiangjiang, try this stir-fried pork.”

“I didn’t know if you could eat spicy; this chili chicken cubes has only a little chili, but it still tastes good.”

“This tomato-braised beef is very flavorful, especially nutritious. You should eat more.”

…

Shen Zhixian interacted with him cautiously, picked up some food for him, and tentatively asked, “Would you mind if I offered you some food?”

Some people really dislike it when others serve them food.
