Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Meng Ke frowned, reaching out to grab Xu Wanqi’s uninjured arm.

Xu Wanqi paused slightly, turning her head and speaking lightly, ”Senior, I haven’t really showered these days in the hospital, it’s been unbearable, don’t worry, I won’t get my injuries wet.”

”You only have one hand...”

”Senior, I won’t heal in a day or two, I can’t keep not showering. If you’re not letting me shower myself, do you plan to help me?”

In the end, Xu Wanqi couldn’t help but give a bitter smile.

Meng Ke was taken aback, remembering what Xu Wanfei said on the phone.

His eyes flashed with hesitation as he let go of her hand.

Xu Wanqi didn’t linger or say anything else and turned and went into the bathroom.

Meng Ke stared at the bathroom for a moment then sat down on the sofa, thinking more and more that Xu Wanfei had tricked him.

Considering Xu Wanqi’s feelings for him, she couldn’t possibly have shared that secret with Xu Wanfei.

Back then, he had suspected Xu Wanqi might know something, but she always played dumb, so he believed her.

Until that day, when Xu Wanqi negotiated with him, requesting he stay at the hospital to care for her until she was discharged.

Only then did she reveal the secret to him.

Even though Xu Wanqi had threatened him, that if anything happened to her, his secret would become known to the world, Meng Ke still felt Xu Wanqi wouldn’t easily tell Xu Wanfei.

Just as he was lost in thought, there was suddenly a scream from the bathroom.

It was Xu Wanqi’s voice.

It sounded like she had fallen.

Meng Ke’s expression changed, he got up, ran to the bathroom door, and knocked twice, ”Wanqi, are you alright?”

”It hurts.”

From inside came a painful voice.

Meng Ke frowned, pushing open the bathroom door, seeing Xu Wanqi lying on her side on the bathroom floor.

His eyes falling on her naked body, Meng Ke’s expression changed several times. Seeing her frowning in pain, he could only rush over, first turn off the showerhead, squat down and support her arm.

”Hiss...”

”Does this arm hurt too?”

”Yes, when I fell just now, it was this arm that got pinned underneath.”

Xu Wanqi gritted her teeth, unsure if it was painful sweat or water, but her forehead was wet.

”I’ll lift you, bear with me for a moment.”

Meng Ke took off his jacket, bent down, and picked up Xu Wanqi’s body.

Because she wasn’t wearing clothes and her body was all wet, Xu Wanqi at this moment was indescribably alluring, enticingly close.

Meng Ke was a man, a normal man, even if he wasn’t in love with Xu Wanqi, seeing her full, sensuous body and soft warmth in his arms, stimulated his senses one after another, causing his breathing to be slightly disordered.
