Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

The man smiled helplessly and said. “So, should we even continue? The results are obvious. Fighting against your team, forget about just the five of us, even fifty or five hundred of us would not have any chance of winning, right? In that case, I guess we should just forfeit.”

Lu Fan was about to speak when Han Ke concernedly said, “You can’t forfeit! I heard that the final exam isn’t just about which team gets first place; your performance in the matches is weighted as well, and it is very important. If you can perform well in this match, you should also be able to get a decent score.”

The Swordsman laughed, seeming to know that Han Ke was Lu Fan’s Aunt, so he knew a bit about her, at least her name.

“Sister Han, you must be joking with me. Once Brother Lu makes a move, would we even have any chance to act? Wouldn’t we be instantly killed? It’s better if we just forfeit now, which would save you some time and energy. I heard that Jiang Fengyun’s team is very strong. They have a High Level Player called Meng Jia inside their team. They will definitely be competing for first place. So, you guys should pay attention to them.”

“Also, ever since the National Trial Secret Realm ended, Brother Lu has always been our idol. I hope in this year’s final exam, I can see Brother Lu defeat Jiang Fengyun’s team again and take first place.”

Faced with his fan, Lu Fan also felt a bit embarrassed and said. “Don’t worry, we will definitely take first place. But my Aunt is right. If you just give up, you might have to retake the same exam next year. No matter what, you still need to showcase your strength here.”

At this moment, Tao Xiaoman proudly said, “How about this then, Lu Fan and the others won’t act, and I’ll fight you alone. How about that? This way, each of you will have the chance to showcase your strength, and you’ll at least get some points instead of getting instantly eliminated.”

“Ah? Well…” This made the Swordsman and his team a bit embarrassed, “You don’t have to go that easy on us… How about this, if you really want to let us showcase our abilities, that’s fine. But, Brother Lu shouldn’t make a move. If just this Sister fights the five of us, we’re afraid we might not be able to control our Skills properly and someone might get hurt…”

Tao Xiaoman pouted and complained, “What? You think I’m not a match for the five of you?”

“That’s not it…” The Swordsman realized he might have said something wrong there and quickly explained, “I’m just worried that in the heat of battle, since you’re kind enough to give us a chance to showcase ourselves, we do not want any accidents. If we accidentally hurt you, that would be inexcusable…”
