Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

This time, even Jian Ying’s body flashed with golden light. Like Lu Fan, she had reached Level 22.

The only one who did not Level up was Lu Fan, who felt somewhat depressed. However, sensing the amount of Experience Points he had gained, Lu Fan knew he was close to the limit. He estimated that after another run of the Poison Spider Forest, he would reach Level 23.

After the Experience Point Reward was given, at the place where the Shrieking Broodmother died, streams of white light suddenly gathered and flew in front of everyone.

Instantly, everyone was delighted. Their luck was really good, they even got extra Dungeon Instance Rewards!

Theoretically, public Dungeon Instances like this one had been cleared countless times. The more times a Dungeon Instance gets cleared, the less energy it contains. Although the Experience Points given would not change, the rewards would become less and less.

It was very normal to get nothing after clearing a public Dungeon Instance. Getting extra rewards was like winning the lottery.

This time, the group only got one reward from clearing the Dungeon Instance. Compared to Secret Realms like Despair Village, it was certainly far inferior, but having a reward was better than nothing.

No one moved, clearly indicating that the reward should be distributed by the team leader.

Seeing this, Lu Fan did not decline. He stepped forward and waved his hand to disperse the white light, revealing the equipment wrapped inside – a pair of boots.

Dull Poison Spider Combat Boots (Silver Equipment Set)
Required Level: 20

Strength +21

Agility +25

Poison Resistance +10

Equipment Set Bonus:

Poison Resistance +50 (1/2)

Additional Skill: Web Spray (Active Skill) – Can release a large web, trapping enemies (1/4)

Although these boots were Silver, they added both Strength and Agility Attributes, making them an excellent item.

More importantly, this was part of a Silver Equipment Set. Collecting two pieces of the Equipment Set would add a total of 60 points of Poison Resistance, which was not much.

But if all four pieces of the Equipment Set could be collected, it would provide a Crowd Control Skill, which was quite practical. It could catch opponents off guard during PvP.

Lu Fan already had Flash Spirit Boots, so he naturally did not care about these boots. Among the team members, no one wore heavy armour equipment, so the best recipient for this item was undoubtedly Tao Xiaoman.

Tao Xiaoman did not seem to have any good boots, so this Silver equipment would be good for her.

So, Lu Fan directly tossed the Dim Poison Spider Boots to Tao Xiaoman, saying, “Tao Zi, this equipment is for you. At the rate we’re clearing Dungeon Instances, it won’t be long before you reach Level 20 and can equip it.”

Tao Xiaoman hugged the boots, her happy face flushed red. Her words contradicted her actions as she smiled and said, “Dang. I didn’t expect that I, who slacked off the most, would be able to get this only piece of equipment. I feel really embarrassed taking this.”

Lu Fan immediately laughed. “Come on, you don’t look embarrassed at all? Maybe because this Dungeon Instance has been cleared too many times, the equipment reward’s Level isn’t that high. But, that’s fine though. If we were given Level 45 equipment, who knows when we’d be able to wear them.”

“Later, let’s specifically clear this Dungeon Instance some more. If we’re lucky, we might be able to get the Complete Equipment Set before the freshmen exam. It should give you a significant boost in Combat Power.”

“En-nmm!” Tao Xiaoman nodded repeatedly, grinning at Lu Fan. “Thank you, Lu Fan. Oh right, and thank you too, Jian Ying, hehe.”

Lu Fan looked at the time and realised that the group had indeed spent a long time in this Dungeon Instance. By now, it was probably dark outside.

Although this Dungeon Instance provided a ton of Experience Points, it was indeed time-consuming. They could probably only clear it twice a day, or just once if they had classes.

After such a long battle, everyone was quite tired. Seeing that the Transport Array to leave the Dungeon Instance had already opened, Lu Fan was about to ask everyone to exit the Dungeon Instance and return to their lodgings to rest, then come back tomorrow to do another run.

But just as Lu Fan was about to speak, he suddenly remembered Xiao Cui seemed to have reached Level 5 earlier after killing all the Monsters.

He wondered if there were any special changes in Xiao Cui’s Attributes after reaching Level 5.
