781 Directly Obtaining an S-rank Martial Technique

Chu Nan sat on the lawn and allowed the passing students to look at him strangely. He propped his chin with one hand and fell into thought.

After returning to the Martial Arts Branch just now, things went much smoother than he had imagined.

When he saw Chu Nan, Director Wang Sicheng did not say a word and directly took out a paper contract document.

The content of the contract was very simple. In summary, it was actually a statement of responsibility.

If he signed this contract, Chu Nan would confirm that in the Leppler Star System incident, he was responsible for all his actions and it had nothing to do with Star Cloud Academy. In the future, he could not use this matter to publicize any comments that were disadvantageous to Star Cloud Academy.

When Chu Nan first saw this contract, he suspected that he had seen it wrongly.

In his opinion, Star Cloud Academy’s actions were too stupid.

Even if he did nothing else, as long as he publicized this contract, it was enough to make Star Cloud Academy suffer criticism. Countless people would think that Star Cloud Academy thought that they were in the wrong in the Leppler Star System incident and forced Chu Nan to sign such a contract.

This way, Star Cloud Academy would only be even more passive than before.

However, after he bluntly asked Director Wang Sicheng this question, he expressed that this was the unanimous decision of the Martial Arts Branch. If Chu Nan was willing to cooperate, it would naturally be the best. If he was unwilling to cooperate, the public opinion would not be harsher on Star Cloud Academy, so there was not much difference.

However, to Chu Nan, even if Star Cloud Academy was scolded by others, it was not beneficial to him at all. Instead, signing this contract was beneficial to him.

The benefits Wang Sicheng mentioned were clearly reflected in this contract.

The contract stated that the Star Cloud Academy’s Martial Arts Branch had admitted that they had neglected their duty in the incident in the Leppler Star System and caused Chu Nan to be in danger. Therefore, they decided to compensate him accordingly.

The most direct thing was that from the day the contract was signed, Chu Nan’s student level would directly increase to B-rank.

This meant that as long as Chu Nan had enough points, he could directly exchange for any powerful B-rank martial technique without needing to level up.

Compared to the large group of students in the Martial Arts Branch who were still working hard to increase their levels, the highest could only exchange for E-rank martial techniques. It was undoubtedly much better.

At the same time, because Chu Nan’s student level had directly increased to B-rank, it was much easier for him to climb to A-rank.

Moreover, according to the contract, when Chu Nan exchanged for an A-rank martial technique, he would also enjoy a preferential policy of having half the points deducted.

Combined with these two points, Chu Nan casually calculated and confirmed that if he focused on modifying martial techniques to obtain student points, he would need less than half a year to gather enough points to exchange for an A-rank martial technique.

Not to mention the students of the Martial Arts Branch, such benefits were extremely tempting to any martial artist.

However, to the current Chu Nan, just this was clearly not tempting enough.

The Martial Arts Branch clearly knew this very well, so they proposed a condition that truly moved Chu Nan.

S-rank martial technique!

The later part of the contract stipulated that Chu Nan still had the chance to choose one of the six S-rank martial techniques in Star Cloud Academy to obtain the inheritance!

This was an S-rank martial technique!

It was impossible for any martial artist, even the strongest Star-Grade Martial Artist, to not be tempted by an S-rank martial technique.

Of course, Chu Nan was no exception.

Moreover, his goal in registering for Star Cloud Academy was to obtain the precious S-rank martial technique, the Arhat Overlord Golden Body.

He originally thought that he could only slowly accumulate points and increase the level of the students. It would take a year or two or even longer before he had the chance to come into contact with this martial technique.

However, now, he actually had the chance to directly obtain the inheritance!

Of course, the Martial Arts Branch was not without conditions.
