Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!

Chapter 284: Ending 11: She Is Your Father’s Most Beloved Woman in This Lifetime

”Don’t scare yourself.” Mu Huaisheng was worried about her getting a disease, but he could only pretend to be calm. He said to Mu Sisi composedly, ”We’re just doing this for precaution. The probability of you getting a disease from him is smaller than the probability of Qi Chengzhi falling for you. There’s no need to worry about it before we have the results.”

”You’re not me. How can you understand what I’m feeling!” Mu Sisi yelled furiously.

”Enough,” Mu Huaisheng said unhappily. ”I’ve been running up and down for your sake today. How can you say that I don’t understand how you feel? If I don’t understand, why would I spend so much energy investigating this and trying to clean up your mess? If you didn’t run away on your own, this wouldn’t have happened at all. Who else can you blame for your wrongdoings? Mu Sisi, if you continue to throw tantrums at me, I will not care about what you do anymore.”

Mu Sisi was stunned for a moment before she wailed loudly, ”Brother, you have to help me. You have to! Don’t leave me behind.”

Mu Huaisheng pursed his lips tightly and let out a heavy sigh. He glanced at Mu Sisi one more time before bringing her to Chutian Hospital and did not say another word after that.

This time, Mu Sisi was unusually obedient, even when she was in the queue. She was not as frustrated and arrogant as the previous time when she came here to stitch her wound. She just stayed aside and sobbed. Her helpless look made others feel sympathetic towards her.

Mu Huaisheng brought Mu Sisi to take a blood test. After finishing the other examinations and tests, they stayed in the hospital for the report. While they were waiting, Mu Huaisheng went to buy Plan-B pills for Mu Sisi.

The report came out and showed that everything was normal. Both of them were so relieved. The doctor told them if they were still worried, they could come around three months later to do another test. That would be a more accurate indicator.

Mu Huaisheng took a mental note and brought Mu Sisi home. On the way back, Mu Huaisheng called the company’s lawyer and told him to get rid of the surveillance footage at the bar. He told him to erase the recording to prevent any risk of it leaking out. Mu Sisi was unmarried yet and the Mu family still wanted to survive in B City. This must never get out.

When Mu Huaisheng and Mu Sisi reached home, they saw that Fang Anci was already waiting at the hallway entrance once they opened the door. She was restless and fuming. ”Where did you go all night? How can you go and make a scene at Qi Chengzhi’s place so early in the morning? Mu Sisi, haven’t you done enough?” Fang Anci said.

Mu Sisi plunged into Fang Anci’s arms once she saw her and burst into tears, ”Mum!”

Fang Anci was stunned—Mu Sisi really shocked her. Looking at her trembling daughter, she knew that something was wrong and this was not merely a pretense, ”What happened? Huaisheng, what’s wrong with your sister?”

Mu Huaisheng clenched his jaws and told Fang Anci and Mu Sisi to sit down.

Fang Anci grew more anxious. What could it be that it was so difficult for Mu Huaisheng to tell her?

She brought Mu Sisi to the living room to have a seat. Mu Huili was sitting opposite of them with a long face.

After Mu Huaisheng sat down, he told them about what happened to Mu Sisi with a heavy expression. Fang Anci was dumbfounded. Suddenly, darkness clouded her vision and she pressed her hand on her head. She could not accept that an accident like this happened within such a short period of time.

Mu Sisi was still sobbing in her arms. Mu Huaisheng said, ”I’ve already brought her to the hospital for a checkup. There’s no problem. We’ll have to visit again after three months. I’ve also given her Plan-B pills and told Lawyer Gu to search for the bar’s surveillance footage to prevent any possibility of leakage. If we’re able to find the man, that’ll be the ideal. If we can’t, we can only hope that he doesn’t know Sisi and wouldn’t tell others about it.”

”Mum, what should I do? I’ve been ruined by that man… Mum, I hate this. I really hate this!” Mu Sisi shrieked at the top of her voice while she bawled her eyes out.

”You’re only regretting your actions now. What were you doing earlier on? You’ve always been so arrogant and spiteful of everyone else. Now, you’ve been humiliated by a nobody,” Mu Huili said coldly. How shameful it was for something like this to happen.
