Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!

”You don’t have to hurry. Take a seat and drink some water, you just came up,” Yu Qianying said hurriedly. ”It’s almost time for lunch. You can stay back and have a meal together.”

”No need, no need,” Xiao Fan dared not stay behind. He escaped before Yu Qianying managed to get hold of him.

Song Yu ate lunch at home and thought for a while before calling Xiao Fan to go home first. While Yu Qianying was in the kitchen, Song Yu secretly phoned Qi Chengzhi and told her to pick her up after he finished work. She wanted to test Yu Qianying’s reaction towards him.

Yu Qianying did not reject the things that she brought today and even said that she would go to Viewpark Residence to visit her. These made Song Yu think that Yu Qianying might be more lenient towards Qi Chengzhi.

Around four o’clock, Song Yu received Qi Chengzhi’s call and heard him said, ”I’m leaving the office now, will reach around five.”

”You’re off so early?” Song Yu asked in surprise.

”I got off earlier so that I can pick you up early to go home, or else you’ll get hungry,” Qi Chengzhi said in a mellow voice.

Song Yu laughed gently, ”Take your time to drive, no hurry. I ate a lot in the afternoon.”

”Uhm,” Qi Chengzhi answered lightly.

After she hung up, she heard an unhappy voice saying, ”Qi Chengzhi’s coming over?”

Song Yu raised her head and saw Yu Qianying who had on an unpleasant expression.

”Uhm, he’s coming over to pick me up.” Song Yu looked at Yu Qianying with caution.

Yu Qianying said with a tense expression, ”I don’t want to see him. Don’t think that because I’ve forgiven you, I’ll forgive him as well.”

”If you don’t want to see him, I won’t let him come in,” Song Yu could only say before continuing, ”He won’t linger in front of you and make you upset.”

Yu Qianying’s expression remained tensed and stood up to leave without saying a word, ”Don’t let him stay over for dinner. Your father and I will eat the remaining dishes from noon.”

”…” Song Yu did not answer further.

Qi Chengzhi arrived slightly past five. When the doorbell rang, Yu Qianying predicted that it was Qi Chengzhi, so she did not answer the door. Song Yu had to open it for him.

Yu Qianying was sitting in the living room watching over Song Donglin to prevent him from going out to greet Qi Chengzhi.

Song Yu was hoping if they could make up, but she knew that it would be impossible after seeing Yu Qianying’s reaction. Qi Chengzhi stood by the door with a pair of hopeful black eyes peering inside.

Song Yu tugged his sleeve and shook her head silently.

Qi Chengzhi nodded his head and said with a clear voice, ”I’ll wait here for you.”

”I’ll be right out,” Song Yu went back to bid farewell to Yu Qianying and Song Donglin. Yu Qianying just answered blandly with an ”uhm”.

Song Yu was quite disappointed. She took her bag and walked out. She shoved her hand into Qi Chengzhi’s palm. She did not know if she would have to oscillate between her husband and her parents in the future, with zero interaction between both parties.

She let out a sigh gently and felt Qi Chengzhi hold her hand with more strength.

Song Yu raised her head and squeezed her hand. When Qi Chengzhi lowered his head and looked at her, she said, ”Lower.”

Qi Chengzhi raised his eyebrow and smiled. Then, he bent down and Song Yu tiptoed to raise her clumsy body to give him a peck on his lips.

Qi Chengzhi’s heart was beating according to her movements. He was busy looking after her and only stopped worrying after Song Yu regained her balance.

”Why so sudden?” Qi Chengzhi’s eyebrows furrowed slightly and held onto her.

”Comfort your heart.” Song Yu felt very secured being held by him. She leaned her body weight against him and was not bothered by the fact that they were on the staircase.

She did not expect a man that had so much confidence to also have his insecurities.

Qi Chengzhi lowered his head and hugged her while she laid in his arms. His stern features became even more serious and said, ”I’m afraid that you’ll be tired and frustrated when this goes on for a long time.”

”Qi Chengzhi, is your confidence in me that low?” Song Yu got out from his embrace and stood straight up. She put on a serious expression and glared at him.

Listen to her calling his full name, Qi Chengzhi’s expression became softer and let out a sigh, ”I’m sorry, it’s my fault.”

Song Yu was stunned, she did not expect him to admit his fault.
