Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!

”Last night you went to find Qi Chengzhi, but they refused to open the door for you. He called me and asked me to take you home but when I reached, you had already fainted at the doorway of his house,” said Mu Huaisheng, ”You had a high fever and your face was red, so I brought you to this hospital as quickly as I could.”

Mu Sisi recalled that Mu Huaisheng left her on the roadside yesterday, then she took a taxi back to Chengshi where she parked her car.

As she was driving, she did not want to go home and cried whenever she looked at the wound on her forehead. She felt that fate was extremely cruel to her.

Even after the sky turned dark, she still refused to go home and face Mu Huaisheng. After thinking for quite some time, she could not resist and went looking for Qi Chengzhi.

She was so devastated, even if Qi Chengzhi dislike her, wouldn’t he sympathize with her a little?

Unexpectedly, Qi Chengzhi still refused to let her in and cared not whether she was dead or alive. He most probably would not feel even a tinge of guilt or remorse she froze to death outside.

”The doctor said that this fever was caused by the infection of your wound,” said Mu Huaisheng with a deep voice. ”Yesterday you didn’t allow the nurse to help disinfect and bandage your wound. Besides, there’s bacteria on your hair and your environment is also contaminated with bacteria. All these factors caused your infection. You better mentally prepare yourself, your wound has become much worse since yesterday. Even when the wound heals, the scar will be more serious than before.”

As soon as she heard this, Mu Sisi immediately said, ”Mirror, give me a mirror.”

”You still have time to be concerned about your face now?” said Mu Huaisheng sternly.

”I want my mirror!” Mu Sisi saw there was a mirror hanging on the wall opposite her bed, and she wanted to remove the needle in her hand to reach it.

Mu Huaisheng quickly pushed her back into the bed. ”Don’t simply move around. That was the only clock in this ward, I’ll get a smaller one for you, wait for me.”

Mu Sisi finally calmed down and stopped acting wildly.

Mu Huaisheng exhaled heavily and glanced at her worriedly, then he left the ward.

Right after Mu Huaisheng left, Mu Sisi pulled out the needle at the back of her hand. She walked with an unsteady gait toward the mirror. She supported herself with her arm pressed against the wall, and she lifted the bandage covering her wound.

Mu Huaisheng borrowed a mirror from a nurse. When he reached the door of the ward, he could hear the sound of things being smashed into pieces. He heard Mu Sisi shouting, ”My face! Argh!”

Mu Huaisheng rushed into the ward and saw Mu Sisi had smashed all the things that could be destroyed. It was a mess.

She had removed the bandage on her forehead and revealed the horribly inflamed wound, the wound appeared larger than it did the previous night when it was freshly sutured, and it was secreting pus and ulcerated. Mu Sisi could imagine that when the wound heals, it would leave a disgusting scar.

”Didn’t I say I would bring you a mirror? Why did you go crazy again!” Mu Huaisheng was exasperated, when would Mu Sisi stop going crazy.

”My face is ruined, it’s more unlikely now that Brother Chengzhi would accept me! Waah…” Mu Sisi broke down and cried while hugging her legs together. ”It’s unfair, why does God treat me so unfairly? Why would he want to ruin my face?”
