Two-Faced Husband, Have Some Decency!

Song Yu held his arm immediately to try and curry favor with him. ”We can change the settings for this. If you want, I can change the settings so it becomes something only the two of us can see. The result will be the same.”

Qi Chengzhi remained silent for some time but nodded reluctantly in the end. ”Mm.”

Without further ado, Song Yu immediately set the name to ’The Qi Family’s Xiao Yu’. When she logged in, she felt as though her phone was exceptionally warm. Looking at those five words made her heart go wild.

When Song Yu was setting up everything for Qi Chengzhi, he took her phone silently and opened the chat with Ruan Danchen.

Song Yu had yet to reply Ruan Danchen’s question.

It took only a few simple taps for Qi Chengzhi to understand how WeChat worked.

He chose a shy emoji and added another word behind it. ”Mm.”

After sending the message, he took advantage of Song Yu’s inattentiveness and slyly slipped the phone beside her thigh.

”Done.” Song Yu handed Qi Chengzhi’s phone back to him. Beside the icon of the cartoon feather, the word ’Feather’ was replaced with ’The Qi Family’s Xiao Yu.”

Qi Chengzhi’s mood turned exceptionally good. The sullenness in his expression dispersed and there was a twinkle in his eyes as he saw those five words. The more he looked at them, the more he liked it.

He raised his eyebrow and looked at Song Yu. Then, he pointed at the screen of her phone and said, ”Change your settings for my name too. Change it to ’My Boss’.”

”If I change it to that name, what if I mistake it for Director Zhao’s text?” Song Yu said that on purpose because she felt that his name change request was too intimate!

”…” Qi Chengzhi looked intently at her, causing her to wonder if he knew the destructive effect of such gazes toward her.

He pursed his lips and snickered. ”You added Zhao Rongcheng as your friend?”

”No, of course not,” Song Yu blurted out the truth without thinking. She regretted it immediately after finishing her words and seeing Qi Chengzhi squint at her.

Qi Chengzhi said nothing but simply scoffed. His mocking tone was obvious.

Song Yu looked down and kept quiet. Then she changed the settings earnestly.

…

…

The car stopped right below the apartment. Song Yu felt awkward. It was not the first time that Qi Chengzhi sent her home, but it was the first time that he did so with their new status.

”Well… I’ll be heading up. Take care on the road,” Song Yu looked down and said. She was slightly afraid to look at him. Her reddened face was illuminated by light that shone through the dark car windows.

She fluttered her eyelashes and opened the car door immediately to get down.

Right after that, she heard the sound of another car door closing behind her. Qi Chengzhi had followed her down.

She thought that Qi Chengzhi would follow her up and she was just about to decline, since she knew that it would spell trouble for her to invite Qi Chengzhi into her home.

To her surprise, he simply stood in front of her and held her hand.

”You’re just going to go up like that?” Qi Chengzhi’s low voice seemed to tickle her itch as it resonated in her mind.

Song Yu looked up. Her momentary confusion turned to clarity of understanding once she saw the burning fire in his eyes.

She hesitated for a while and looked into the car. The tint was much darker in the night and she could not see a thing.

”Chang Lai won’t look.” Qi Chengzhi squeezed her palm and urged.

’Could this man stop being so smart?’

Song Yu was not too happy after being exposed just like that.

She had never initiated a kiss before. If she did so at that moment, it would amount to affirming her relationship.

By bringing her to meet with Yan Beicheng that evening, he was quietly trying to set her mind at ease and show that he was serious. Even so, she was not completely at peace and there was always the slight feeling that everything was unreal. She was afraid of jumping to conclusions too early with the relationship, and at that moment, she could not contain her shyness.

After much holding back and hesitation, she could no longer withstand his fixed eyes and penetrating stare. She felt numbness in her mind. His appearance as of then seemed to force her into making a decision and prevent her from shying away.

Song Yu closed her eyes while her heart was beating madly. She summoned up the courage and lightly kissed him.

With that kiss, it felt like that chapter had been closed and she had – by her own volition – acknowledged their relationship.
